I feel bad for King Dreadnaught. Can't seem to post or be the topic of posts without getting judged by someone from the peanut gallery. Come on, guys. icon_rolleyes.gif

Personally I liked the other guy who maxed characters quickly. He seemed much more humble

KDN doesn't have to defend himself... He has a 550 OML for that...

Fair play King, hats off to you!

Are you stalking me to know the amount I've spent? Lol I don't even know my own number icon_e_sad.gif haha
And that's not true for my Alliance to get 100-200 cps a day lol. They don't need cps from me, they are already powerful as they are. icon_razz.gif

Honestly, I do believe you possess a $50,000 roster. Even if you were super lucky in getting covers, the fact remains that the game does not provide enough opportunities for you to earn iso to max even one 4* per month. And thus, one can safely assume that you bought a lot of iso to max out your 4s.

How you spend your money is your choice, and that's fine. A million dollars might be a lot of money to most of us, but chump change to a billionaire. So it's all a matter of perspective and relative spending compared to personal income/wealth/assets/etc. icon_mrgreen.gif

As far as your alliance getting cps, I don't know how much they get considering how often you join buyers clubs on a weekly basis (those club names are funny; whoever creates those clubs have a weird sense of humor). icon_twisted.gif

    Yes. 600 something.

    Health 170,000
    Red fires at 36,000
    Green aoe at 60000

This one person has kept this game free to play for pretty much everyone else.
I'm sure this person is basically funding the entirely development staff, plus salaries, plus bonuses, plus holidays, plus sick pay and materity leave all by him/herself.

The amount of money required to do this is just...unfathomable to me.

Sorry, but licensing fees to Marvel Entertainment, plus rent for office, employee salaries, etc. cost a ton more than what King is spending on the game. He's only one super duper whale, and you still need more expenditures from the rest of the peanut gallery ( icon_mrgreen.gif ) to keep the game afloat. Case in point: why hasn't Demiurge made roster slots free rather than make players spend money to buy them? I bet collectively/cumulatively, the sales of roster slots to the entire player base adds up to MORE than what our friend King spent in the game. icon_lol.gif

50k? I've estimated it at well over 100k.

Believe it or not. For all these time, I bought 2 motherlodes. I ALWAYS AND ONLY buy Starks for Hp. Buy 40 packs and sell them the unwanted.

Honestly, this is the most interesting thing in this whole thread. I always assumed the mega-whales were the ones actually buying ISO (and thus keeping the cost high), but if you are getting enough 40-packs to land a 550 OML it makes sense that you would have enough unneeded covers to support leveling everyone.

People judging what he spends are worse than what they are complaining about. It's his money to do as he sees fit. ONE stark is a LOT of money to me, so much that I've never bought more than a Loonie at a time (and very sparingly). Sounds to me like a lot of people are just jealous. Congrats KDN, I'll continue to hit that skip button whenever I see you!
  • I feel compelled to say KDN should not have to defend himself. The fact that he even is shows what a good sport he's being...

Congrats on the milestone KDN. And a special shout-out to the MMR; shall it forever keep me out of your crosshairs.

What if I post a screen shot of my roster myself? Do I still have to censor my name? icon_e_biggrin.gif I take this post as a compliment and thank you that my 550 made it to the forum. Goodluck to all!

With screenshots, you need to black out any name that is not your own, so, if you want to post your own, feel free!
  • First, congrats! This doesn't bother me at all because he you might as well be playing a different game than me, but it is cool to imagine everything that went into building his roster.

Here's my real question: Does he spend more time opening tokens and selling them than playing the game? Forget the cost, I can't get over the _time_ to click all those buttons, yikes! I suppose he must use "sell all" a LOT.

Oh man. I once opened 190 taco tokens at the same time and dealing with that very time consuming. Just scrolling through everything to find which ones to keep/sell (or now champion) took a lot of time. He must go through that at least once a week.

The game froze whenever I scroll down to about 1000 covers, it won't go further or at least slowly go one by one cover and that is real pain. So i gave up long time ago u until Champion thing that I can just train the characters directly and when all done, I sell all.
