really if the node didn't have cp in it I wouldn't care at all. I'm well past progression but I'd like the cp and I ground sub 2 for the 500iso rewards too. that won't be happening here. unless I get lucky, I might not have the patience to even get the cp.

A high level Carnage + two Muscle Goons with a limited roster is probably the hardest PVE fight in the entire game at this point.
I'd say even harder than some of those **** nodes that were in the last sub in the Eddie Brock PVE. Worse than 300+ level Magneto & Hood.

    I don't have a good covered or leveled Iceman (2 4 3 Lv 150) or 4Clops (2 4 2 Lv 90). My X-23 is somewhat respectable @ 5 2 2 Lv 155.
I had to resort to WWW just to beat it once, hoping that I'd get the CP reward so I wouldn't have to play that damn node again.
Donno if I have it in me to try for the 1 CP again, as I've hit the LT progression reward already.

I really **** hate Carnage more than any character in the game.
His entire design revolves around forcing the Player use Health Packs, even when you use him!
It's pretty inexcusable to design a character like this when you factor in all the time sinks & other freemium features this game has (health not restoring to full after a fight, etc.). It's like they took the most abusive features of Juggernaut, Sentry, & Ares and combined then, and then turned it up to 11.

Thor help me, I despise the Carnage nodes. Aside from every turn taking forever with every CD triggering Alien Instincts, it seems like he continually gets Symbiote Scythes off for massive damage before the match has barely started.

For the final "Odd Trio" node, I resorted to WWW to get my first win last night because it was late, I'd wiped twice and just wanted to clear it. Today, I beat it with Deadpool, Groot and Patch, all between 100-120 with 11-12 covers. DP's red is useful for chopping Carnage's HP down fast, and then I lucked into a few purple matches so DP could take Carnage off the board quickly.

I don't know if I'll have the patience (or the bandages) to grind the CP out on this node. (Which of course, I haven't gotten yet.) I've hit the LT mark and I'm in good shape for three Doom covers (but no real chance of a top 10), so I'll probably be happy clearing the other eight nodes, as that's probably all the Carnage I can stand.

I've had some minor luck with Mohawk/R&G against Carnage, especially with her black to help eat away at Cletus. Prioritize denying red, and then green (for Storm's board wipe), and then blue so as to squeeze more juice out of the various attack tiles (and yellow when R&G need it).

Hey, if I could bring Ragnarok and Doc Oc, I'd cowboy up and grind that node down. When I'm forced to use a poorly covered X-23 alongside whoever RNGesus has decreed should participate in the Heroic, I get my clears in and move on with my day.
