Did it with a level 100 1/2/3 Thoress. Match damage and AP boosts. Favorable board to say the least. Drew the 4th Blue for her with the LT reward. Not a bad day's work.

Tried with a lvl 120 1/5/3 and failed a couple times. Got her up to lvl 140 and still had to try about 6-7 times, but it worked out. Nabbed an icon_antman.pngyellowflag.png, which is what I need to re-spec him from 5/4/4 to 5/3/5, so that's something.

274 Thor, crushed Rags predictably with no boosts.

based on posts thus far, it seems my 136 2/3/3 should get it, but it's just not going to work out I don't think. i'm using various combinations of B/P and R/Y dmg and AP boosts (plus rainbows). I lost count on the number of attempts, but i'm easily in excess of 10.

I got frustratingly close on one occasion, had him down to 300ish health, and i'm sitting there trying to decide my move with about 1,000 health and knowing he had the green AP to pull off Godlike Power. all I had to choose from was purple and black matches. sadface.

this is so frustrating. I know I can do this, as evidenced by others here.

EDIT: LMMFAO - of course the very next attempt after posting this I emerge victorious. he got a crazy green cascade to end up with 19 green AP, but I had enough AP to fire off three blue and three red powers. intense.

My L152 1/5/3 thor stands no chance. Need at least 3 red covers i think to have any reasonable chance.

Psst... Look at Krongle's post a bit above yours...

Failed about 10+ times now, and I'm running low on boosts -- completely out of all AP stockpiles, and I didn't have any match all damage boosts to begin with. Is it worth spending HP to replenish them? I have 2200+, but am on principle opposed to paying for them.

I managed to beat it with 100% rainbow boost, B/P boost and I believe a +2 B/P AP boost. It relied a lot on luck and hoping Rag didn't luck himself into random red matches. I was okay with him getting green matches and some blue if I couldn't help it.
  • Took me 5-6 tries and a bunch of boosts, but I eventually got the victory with my lvl 140 2/2/3 TGT. Unfortunately the LT gave me a FalCap blue that I'll probably never use.

I've tried multiple times (all of my initial health packs for hte day) with my 2/4/1 lvl 152 to no avail. Deny red (make red matches or make sure no red matches if at all possible are available). Make blue matches and deny green on second priority.
It just isn't working. I tried with boosts, now i'm all out of those. I've gotten close, once or twice, down to 2K or so on Rag, but the random cascade or random red/green match comes and I can't get to it, and then boom I'm dead. I feel like wiht the right board the whole thing would be doable but 20 tries or so and no luck so far, the board just doesn't want to cooperate.

Quite a tough fight with my 172 3/4/1 4Thor. I lost pretty badly on the first attempt, and barely squeaked by on the second try. I boosted +2 all AP , +125% critical, +100% match damage. On the second attempt I had him down to 3000, and I was at 2500 or so. He'd collected enough AP for his green attack, so I knew I was one turn from a dirt nap. Luckily, a match-5 on a team-up dropped to create a critical that landed next between a charged red tile and a regular red tile, and it did enough match damage to take him out.

Took 10 tries but managed with 127 3/0/3 goddess. Used blue/purple dmg boost and red /yellow blue/purple ap boosts. I got a black carnage.
I wasn't too happy to say the least.

    138 3/4/3 3rd try, boosted +2 all, +2 red/yell, +50% red/yell

I only had 150 health and he had 15 green on my last move, but I used blue and was able to get 2 moves which gave me enough red to finish him.
  • Won with 0/5/1 lv 152. Boost 100% match, 50% y/r, 50% b/p. Took me a few times. Its actually my first crash win (non PX/IW) so yay!

I would try again when your health packs are replenished. I did it in the last cycle with a 1/4/5 level 166 Thor. Sure, the 3 turn stun was helpful, but the damage from Smite was pitiful.

With a 3/3/2 Thor, you'll have a good chance with iso boosts. Try with 50% Red/Yellow damage boost, 50% Blue/Purple damage boost and some critical boosts if you've got some.

Deny Green and gather Red. It's not such a bad thing if he casts Thunderclap and Lightning Rod early, we could use the charged tiles to power up Smite. Just beware that he could get a lot of cascades with Thunderclap. At 168, your Thor could take a few Thunderclaps. But, if we gather all the Red on the board, once we get 20 AP, it's usually over. Ignore/don't prioritise Yellow if you could deny Green instead.

Ugh, thanks, it worked but it was not pretty. Denied green, as you said, but red was scarce and I tried purposely to extend the match to find as much red as possible, only ended up with 22. So instead, I let Rags pull off his Red so that he could get some blue, let him cast blue to get more charged tiles and stunned him till there were about 14 on the board, and when my health got under 2000, I decided to let her rip. Smiting him twice got him down to 300, and thankfully I'd banked 29 yellow, and all I needed was one Striking Distance to get me a purple X-23. (Second X-23 I got today thanks to the LT from the PVE!)
  • To my surprise, I won with a 3/3/1 level 131 Thoress. On just my third try. Used damage and AP boosts

    I won with my Thoress lvl 131 1/2/3, 2 R/Y, 2 B/P and 2all.
It was my third try and no damage boost left.

The board was incredible : yellow, purple and black everywhere ! I matched all the red / blue and green when they were coming. Rag didn't use his blue ! And the charged tiles were unmatchable. Was long as hell but a true puzzle game ! 3k health remaining so you can imagine the board...

    LT hoarded.
