Thoress Clash of Titans

Got him on the 6th try with 3 2 1 131 Thor, +2 ap, +2 yellow and red ap and a 50% damage boost. Wasn't close on the successful try, still had like 4k health, but I did get him to 320 health on my 3rd try.
So definitely one of the more doable 4* DDQ's, provided you don't let him fire his and more than once.0 -
Much better results this time, 4/4/5, 160. Took 2 attempts, no red on the first board to Smite Rag, 2nd attempt I boosted +2 ap , +2 ap +2 ap rainbow

Completed this on my second try as attempted without any boosts first time.
Blue and Red absolutely essential for this one IMO.
Definitely recommend to try and save up a couple of reds and blues to unleash in one go for maximum charge tile damage. I also waited for him to lightning rod himself and thunderclap me.
One of the most fun Clash matches because I felt like a boxer taking punches to lamp Rags even harder

I found this fight brutal. I barely won, barely, and thats with a lvl 180 3/3/3.
I commend anyone that can take on this fight with a lower level and less covers.

I valued red far too high on my fight, meaning he hit me a couple of times with his green skill, and he also didn't contribute much to charge tiles.0 -

I'm tempted to level her to her max of 168. Not sure if it's worth the 44k Iso though0 -
5/3/5 lvl 210, no boosts, took very little damage. Yielded 1k iso (4Clops )0

When you get your blue charged up save it until you have a choice of 2 moves you can do, where whichever you do he will gain useful ap from the other.
Instead stun him then, and get both. Only way I managed it was deny deny deny.
Save your red up until you can fire it off at least twice, ideally straight after a blue, but keep in mind his charged green tiles count for the extra damage too. Don't use it too early or he may just heal it back with his blue.
Don't get disheartened if he has healed himself up to full hp, while you have been whittled down to half health. As long as you're building up AP yourself, the battle isn't over.0 -
My Thor is 5/3/5 level 270, so I didn't expect any trouble. Went about as expected: A few stuns, a Smite... and then Rags KOed himself with his Godlike Might. Made me smile.0

Beat it first try with 3/4/4 at level 185. Almost lost cause AI got some ridiculous cascades, but my Thoress still prevailed
Got a needed , who is now 3/2/30 -

Yes exactly what I was doing.
One key thing is a slightly leveled Thoress can take a few thunderclap attacks but if Rags gets his green off he does a large chunk of damage plus the column clearance.0 -
130 4hor 4/4/3. Beat him 2nd try. 50% boost B/P, +2 B/P, +2 all.
Denied what I could. Was able to stun him twice and collect some AP. He got off lightning rod once and had about 8 charged tiles on the board. By then I had built up enough R/Y to get striking distance off once and Smite twice back to back. That was all she write.
Got me a Blue Ant-Man for my troubles.0 -
Was finding it a bit frustrating going with 3 1 1 so decided to do the other Deadpool Daily Quests in the meantime and managed to pull a Thor cover (amazing I know, but hey, it's about time I had some luck). Hit that, spent the ISO leveling her up and managed to complete it on my third attempt with at 3 1 2 . Not exactly easy, but felt much better than before. So 6-covers does seem like a good starting point. Storing up Blue and Red seems to be the way to go by the way.
Got for my trouble, although that means he's still only 3 0 0 .

I actually had a blue this time, which was sorely missed last match. 5/4/1 @ 147...I had to fight through some of the worst board luck I've seen, but got him on the 5th or 6th try.
from the token, bringing him to 4/5/4, which is my first fully covered 4*. 579 days later0 -
My Thoress is a level 272 champ, so I played it straight up with no boosts. Beat him on the first try even though he got all of his powers off. My blue chained into another blue and 2 reds finished him off.
Got a Starlord red out of it. He's 4/5/4 now and still probably can't beat Gamora.0 -
Level 156 2/2/4, boosted all ap, r/y ap, all match damage 100%. Won on the first try. I focused on collecting blue and red, and got lucky that the board was green starved. He got off his red and blue early, but couldn't match his own charged tiles. Saved up for two stuns, collected enough for a third. A couple of smites and a striking distance finished the deed. Cyclops from the LT.0

Tip for Thoress, don't use blue until you can see probable matches on Y/R/B, that way you can get the AP you need.0
-
3/4/5 - 140, +AP all, +AP R/Y, +50% dmg R/Y
Won on the first try, though he did get Thunderclap off twice, along with a Lightning Rod for one min-heal, but by the time I had enough blue for Power Surge I was able to call Smite back-to-back then match a charged red tile for one more Smite, game over.0 -
Failed the 1st time at 160 with my 0/5/5 Thoress. Just horrible cascades. Bumped her up to 180 and destroyed him. Got enough for 2 stuns and he never took another turn. Used 100% match damage boost.
Got my 1st to make him 1/1/20 -
My lvl 147, 3/5/5 Thoress had a good go of it on the first attempt, but the board was just against me in every way.
Defeated rags on my 2nd attempt almost taking no damage, +2 b/p, +2 rainbow, +100% damage. Stun, stun, and more stun, all while whipping that hammer around, making blue/yellow matches while he was stunned.0
