    Close but not exactly. Pick a lightning round you don't care about to tank in and then your mmr will be lower when you fight in a lightning round you do want to win.

    If you tank enough what ends up happening if you get more seed teams of easier quality than you otherwise would.

    Speaking of tanking, my team of Bagman, Bagwoman and Bagnarok seems to be drawing a lot of attention. Yes attack me and help me slay the vicious MMR beast!

    Three Loki rounds in a row I've been 1-2 places out of 8th, and my Loki sits at 4/5. Just got hit by Jachdo twice, and I can't make up a 60+ point gap in 6 minutes.

    EDIT: Hoping I fall to a diabolical token, but I don't see that happening in 6 minutes, either.

    If I could get high enough, I would, and sometimes I do for a few minutes. Shielding in 8th place with ~10 minutes to go, though, is not going to get me top 8.

    Finally managed to get top 8 in my first Lightning event. Did spend 50 gold on shields tho. But I had pretty beefed up Ragnarok (lvl 63). Before I have leveled him there was no chance so it is kind of funny, You need beefed up guy to get covers of the same char...

    Oh dear, I've tanked myself so low that my tank team (lvl 6 OBW, lvl 6 Bullseye, lvl 15 villain) is starting to win matches on defence. I'm still finishing in the top 100k but it was still a nice surprise to log in with a +46 net gain from defending. Also because I logged in late for the latest lightning round, I realised that I wasn't actually hitting on seed teams but on real people who actually would have benefitted from getting to 100. :S

    I don't know, because raggy is kind of a hit point punching bag, buffed up he still does take a bit of time to take down - it does slow you down when you're trying to gain points as quickly as possible so he's probably viable in the other villain LRs. Slight deterrent effect maybe?

    Has anyone seen the player Doneskis? Top player in the current Hood LR.

    He already has a 5/5/3 Hood, yet he is still competing.

    Edit - Or maybe he's having fun w/easy victories after butting heads against 230 mobs in pve

    I just wanted my last friggin' Hood cover, ffs. I think they need to remove players you've smacked recently out of your queue, because M-something-something was literally only targeting me at the end of that ****ing round, and I'm pretty irked.

    After that, my hood is 0/5/2. Think I may actually need to try on the doom or mags rounds sometime in the near future so I can get a friggin yellow cover. Using boosts & spidey to stay healed just isn't earning me points fast enough.

    ...Good to know, I'm done with the LR's then for the time being. I'm only on day 90-something but at least this time in March I'll have a cover-maxed Hood. Although if they redo the Hero LR rewards, I'll get into those with gusto.

    I also thought would mention it in case anybody is thinking of using HP to level Hood up to max cover level for yellow - I did this with Hulk green, then lo-and-behold a Hulk green cover was offered as a daily reward shortly thereafter icon_rolleyes.gif

    Being done with all the villians and almost all the hero lr means there is no way I would try for tops in a bracket lol.

    That said, first in the rag and Loki rounds net you 150 hp which is 2 shields in a PvP which would help you net a 4**** there...so if ppl want to push regardless of having them...those are the rounds to do it in. Also, worst 2 atm (though rag in lr is still a nice third).
