    I think it's more that kids are into the action games. I don't picture a lot of teens getting jazzed about moving a few tiles around, then waiting 8 hours for a refresh.

    My 12-year-old son plays, but I think that's mainly because I've passed down my love of Marvel to him. He can't put the hours into the game that I can (mean mom and dad making him do homework instead of playing videogames) so he's maxing out 2* characters while I finally have enough maxed 3*s to be gaining 4* star covers, ever so slowly.

    When he has videogame time, he's more likely to choose Minecraft over MPQ -- but sometimes he'll do both at the same time (Minecraft on a laptop, MPQ on an iPad next to him). Kids his age and younger are obsessed with Minecraft; games like MPQ, that take a hell of a lot of patience and time to build up a roster of great characters, aren't as appealing. The one caveat is when there are big events -- like Ultron, Antman, and now Anniversary/Galactus. The big events draw him in and make him want to play more, which I expect is the case for many casual players, regardless of age.

    Means I'm in your neck of the woods on a weekly basis, since I also teach at Heartland CC. I've got 2 kids of my own, ages 10 and 5.

    Ha, I'm actually looking to move there in a few months when my contract's up to try and teach in the Hernando county school system with the rest of my family.
