    my friend made me realize that vision is being rewarded in a tournament for a blind man, bet D3 was sitting in their office thinking this was clever.

    The Holy Spreadsheet of No Overlapping Actives (pre-4* Deadpool version) suggests Bullseye / Falcon / Kamala / Witch and Cage / Hood.

    (I consider Daredevil's active purple a special case as it can only be triggered if there's an enemy tile, in which case you probably want it to fire.)

    Edit: The original post included Blade, because the forces of evil had somehow corrupted the spread sheet and had Blade's black as passive and green as active.

    In slice 1 I'm seeing more forumites than usual in my queues. Lukewin, FierceKiwi, Bowgentle, Quebbster, for example. All skipped. Nothing to do with etiquette, just a personal choice to generally not hit forumites when I recognise the name, particularly if they've ever voted me up for something. Or are good guys (which is pretty much the same thing).

    And overnight I had 5 losses. My queues had only the most recent one. What's going on there?

    Wish my scarlet witch was 166 w/ 5 blue so I could pair with kamala for this event for climbing, or even cyclops.

    Settled on Mag/Killer Kam becvause they work well enough together

    Ended at 800 pts, got quite a few defensive wins which was nice. Will shield hop later. All on stream of course.

    Thanks for the skips, but if I'm worth the points, hit away. I'll be able to time it out or try again later to get my last Thor blue. I'll probably lose the points anyway, might as well hope that it benefits acquaintances than strangers. Down to 770 and 2 healthpacks now, so gonna let health and healthpacks regen before trying another push. If I don't hit 1k, I'll suck it up and move on. I missed 1k in both offseasons due to bad luck with timing and pushes, definitely not the end of the world. I've scored a Fisk purple from the 300 pt token, and a SW purple from the 900. Dupe is now 4/3/2, after getting an SW purple from a standard less than 16 hrs ago.

    My pvp group has decided we're ok with t250, so I won't have to use a 3 and an 8 to hit 1k and protect the pts. I'll probably be able to use a 3, hit 1k, and end with whatever I end up with. Need to start hoarding HP again, so it is easier for me to build dupes and eventually triples of some 3*s.

    I'm so glad I invested in bringing DD to 290 for this event and KK/Mag are performing wonderfully, netting me defensive wins more than 1 point! Excelsior!

    I do likewise for the... about 5% of forumites I don't have on line anyway, lol.

    And yes, retal nodes are still bugged. I had about 20 hits in Nefarious, got exactly ONE red node. Makes re-climbing a chore.

    I have started using slice 1 more since it is much easier to reach 1300 points there. I have to admit I rarely look at the names, so I don't mind if people hit me.

    Finished with 794, used a 3 hr and an 8 hr to get my last blue Thor cover. Used the three when I was at 958, I think. Had 3 nodes lined up. Shield checked the easiest one, and went for it an hr and a half later. Won the match, but came out to an attack, so was at 985, instead of over 1k. Put up the 8 hr, and good thing I did, b/c I got double tapped. Lined up 3 more nodes, and broke while I was grinding PVE. Got over 1k, collected the cover, fought another match. Was at 1060, but wasn't going to use a 24 hr to protect the points. I think I was in the 600s, but was able to climb from there.

    5/3/5 Thor joins 5/5/3 Fury as my only optimally covered 4*s. If I can get the X-force black in Vision's PVP, he'll go from 5/4/4 to 5/5/3 and be the 3rd optimally covered 4*. 5/4/3 Elektra and 3/5/4 IW are waiting for their last covers too.

    so just want to reiterate DD/Killer Kam/3*Mag actually nets you defensive wins like in a game where defense matters. Its beautiful.

    Trying to run Punisher / Falcon / DD against enemy DDs is a painful process (unless you happen to get a Bird Strike off to mask your Judgement strike tiles against Radar Sense - but even then it's still painful), but they were my only boosted 3*s. So on I went! Got #2 in my bracket; would've got #1 except the value of my last match dropped while I was playing it, leaving me pipped to the post. Ah well.
