So, something terrible happens to your account, and for whatever reason your roster is cut to a total of seven characters of your choice that you currently have. On the bright side, all of your cruelly erased characters leave their roster slots behind, so at least you (probably) have a bunch of open roster slots now. Which seven would you pick? Would you keep any one/two stars for Deadpool's Daily Quest, or would you only keep your heavy hitters/four-stars? Would you choose based on PvE, or PvP, or a mix of both?

Looking at my own roster (solid 3-stars, only a small handful of 4-stars), I'd probably go with the following:

Since I'm allowed to rebuild my roster, I don't see too much sense in picking 1 or 2* characters. I can just grind out Simulator to get all of those back.

My Hulkbuster is 5/5/3 and currently Lv 240, but he's already become my go-to 4* over Wolverine. HB is a much better scarecrow to less developed rosters, so he'll be more useful in my journey to "catch 'em all" again.

The 3* selection should be pretty self-explanatory; they're all top picks in that tier.

Devil Dinosaur because he's otherwise unobtainable.

These 7 can defeat any node in game and would likely be the most useful while I attempt to recover my roster
1/2 stars drop like candy so no need to put them in my 7

I think this team would help me remain competitive in both PvP and PvE. As previously mentioned, 1* and 2* are not difficult to come by (with the exception of purple 1* Spidey covers. i just need one more! haha) and although Iron Fist is an important partner for Hulk Buster and Luke Cage, i figure i can risk taking my chances bumming off the opponent's IF if I have to. The only teams I would be worried about facing in PvP would be the Hood and Loki because we all know they are a bunch of mischief makers lol

I would keep 3* Spidey and Deadpool because i wouldn't feel right tossing them and they make a fun duo (・・。)ヾ(^^ )! Now if only something could be done about that Spider-man yellow *cough cough wink wink*

SW is the last cut, I'm inclined to keep Fury instead, just because 3* aren't as hard to replace, but SW is just too good an accelerant

The top four can generally make a nuisance of themselves in PvP, enabling runs to at least 1K. The bottom three make for a decent rainbow fast attack team for PvE. I wanted to put Steve Rogers (Super Soldier) in there, along with KK, and SW, but Steve's too slow on his own without IM40, and I wasn't giving up a slot for IM40. Interesting question, Puce, and hard to choose! I also nearly went IF/Blade/Daken for the fast attack team, but I think Cage and Mags are more versatile, so to speak. IF and Mags also pair well with XFW.

I play to win as many covers as I'm able to, but I play more to have fun - these characters do that for me. I know I've left better characters off my list from my roster, but I figure I should be able to get them back eventually.

I have a fair number of max covered 3*'s, but am having a tough time getting the iso to max level them, so they are all in the 120-130 range.

I have two teams that I go with, and I feel like they give me all the diversity I need to take on all aspects of the game -

Steve Rogers - 3/5/5

Thor - 3/5/5
Loki - 5/3/5
Dr. Doom - 5/5/3

For my 7th, I'd take Kingpin - 0/2/5, he's not optimally covered, but has enough to be decent level, and I love spamming that yellow and 4* take FOREVER to get even one color optimally covered.

There are a couple of other characters I'd miss, but I'd feel good about my chances of rebuilding quickly with this team.

EDIT: After a little research, I'd trade them all in for a single Jamie Madrox Rainbow Crotch Blast cover.

been using mostly cage blade and falcon. Steve/cyclops is fun red shield throwing fun(was thinking patch and hulk instead for usefulness in speed climbing) but if this happen i think i would quit and cry

I'd look at upcoming covers and essentials in versus and story to determine my 7th.

I'd likely keep a color covered 4 star. Deadpool Antman or kingpin. 3 stars are so much easier to build up.
