What the devs need to fix next, the POLL

MPQ has been constantly improving, but there's always room for improvement, especially considering some issues are long-standing. This poll has the goal of letting devs know which issues or features we, the more invested player-base, consider more urgent or necessary.
I know most of us would like to see most of this stuff addressed so I'm allowing only 3 votes to force you to carefully consider what are the most pressing needs of the game that will benefit the bigger amount of people. I'm also allowing to change your votes so the thread may keep relevant in the future once some of these issues are addressed.

dang had to think hard for this one0

Wish I could select more options, but some need a faster fix.0

Anyone who doesn't vote for a 1 touch level button is no friend of mine.0

Really, am i the only who voted for more progression rewards past the current 3* final one in PVE??????
ugh, only able to vote for 3, needed to vote for 100 -
Nice work with the poll, Pylgrim, but it's missing an "all of the above" option...
I will say this, as far as the available options. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING makes MPQ feel like a totally different game for me quite the way having enough HP for potential roster slots does. There's nothing worse than winning tokens and not being able to open them for fear that I might actually get that first KK card (as one example) and not be able to roster her.
My general outlook on MPQ and subsequent feelings about D3 undergo sea changes based on how much HP I've managed to accumulate...

They need a 4* node in DDQ that has a separate 2k ISO award. That would address the first 2 items on the list. I think the 4* covers are pretty accessible right now, but a 4* progression reward in PvE would be great too.0

The early lead on the first option is hardly surprising but I'm fairly confident that it is already on the works and will be revealed soon. Good thing I made votes changeable!0

The only reason I am against this is because it'll make it harder to place T150. As much as I hate not earning anything over the last progression, after the last progression it's normally a bit easier to keep your placement (at least within T150) because most players stop at that point but if there were more profession rewards then I would be "forced" to keep fighting. I feel it would be more grindy, in my opinion. I would rather see the Placement rewards extended another 50 spots in both PVE and PVP.0 -
Nice poll overall. There are too many great choices then it was difficult to just pick 3! Hopefully we see many of this issues/concerns addressed soon. Thanks.0

de-level de-cover feature is awesome, i wish i can choose more0

How about a new PVE game mode that isn't really just an alternate PVP? I highly prefer the non-competitive events like the intro story. That was the strongest part of the game for me. All other things in the poll are things that would be nice but don't fix the fact that the core game sucks (time and other things). So sick of Marvel Schedule Quest, where 90% of the game is trying to play at the right time, sacrificing real life in the process, which I won't do anymore. I'd MUCH prefer a game where I can play it when I feel like playing it, you know, because it's a game, not my job.0

It's a bit of a difficult choice - a number of things in there I'd love to change. But in the short-term, 4* need to become a bit more available, if that is to be the future (and given the slowly decreasing chances I have of fully covering one quickly, due to the rewards being less often per character), and the 20 iso needs to change, if only to make people less crazy when grinding nodes...0

Voted: Character Balance Changes, ISO 20 fix and Allow for De-leveling/Cover Swapping.
These are the issue most important to me with character balance being first and foremost. I'd love to have more reasons to throw out characters like Spidey and Psylocke on the field beyond the fact that they pair well as fodder with Xavier's 4* falcon style build. A lot of characters are actually very close to being playable they simply need a damage boost to keep up with ongoing power creep. Spidey would be great if he had some realistic web tile partners to pair with.
The 20 ISO fix is important to me because it's a daily frustration you come up against. I realize that it's ultimately unimportant but little quality of life changes can make a big difference.
De-leveling/Cover Swapping would be fantastic to address player error. Sometimes you just learn something about the game after you leveled a character too much or established a certain build. It's not realistic to expect people to fully start another character from scratch to fix that problem so de-leveling is a great option. Somehow I doubt we'll ever see cover swapping added to the game but I'd LOVE to have it. There have been several characters I've wanted to change over the last year and it's annoying to have to wait several months to do so (assuming you aren't lucky enough to get the pvp where that cover is offered twice)0 -
I first tried voting for 5 or 6 items, haha. Lots of things to do...
I narrowed it to these 3:
Roster slots: as they keep expanding the roster of available heroes, the "pay to play" tax of roster slot costs just becomes more & more aggravating. An occasional chance to win one would be a player-friendly gesture.
7-day events: need to die. Period. Even if it means retiring ISO-8 Brotherhood or other current events.
PvE stories: it's getting real stale re-running the same set of PvEs over & over & over again. Come up with some new ones, please. Even if they don't have "cutscenes". The Growth Industry model is fine as a template, using text on the mission intro page to advance the story.0 -
Here's the problem that I forgot about, though.....this board is ALMOST ENTIRELY "veterans." And the majority of them could care less about newer and / or casual players not being able to get new roster slots or wanting new storylines.
All they want is the highest thing on the totem pole, which right now would be 4*s.
This poll is gonna be extremely one sided. I'm calling it right now. Not indicative at all of the GENERAL player base.
Congrats again on this poll though, Plygrim. Fantastic idea, in the beginning.0 -

Said that way I would have voted for it, but I recoiled at the word "repeatable". What I'd like is for the progression road to be lenghtened up to a 4*. A bit like the update to the SHIELD sim.ugh, only able to vote for 3, needed to vote for 10
Tough choices indeed.0 -

I think the best we can hope for is that future new story events are designed to be 3-4 day friendly and that in the meantime, 7-day events are used only in events that do NOT reward a new character.0 -

How about splitting them into 7 1-day events, each with it's own reward, kind of like the daily dungeons in PaD?0 -

Hmm I don't see the point? I mean if they all have the same rewards, it means that there cannot be one big, important reward (i.e. a 4*). If only some of them, the latest ones would reward that... what would be there to compel players to play the earliest ones? And if you make it progressive through the event so you have to play them all (like Ultron, for example?), it just wouldn't be too different to our current PVEs, grind-wise.
It is also interesting to note that this latest prevalence of 7-day events is a by-product of two of our wishes that were granted in the past: no more side-by-side subs, and no more 12-hour subs. Without those measures, there's just no way to fit the longer events in less than 7 days without cutting content.
One solution that occurs to me is finally creating a divide between new and veteran players in PVE. Leave true "Story events" to be experienced by new and transitioning players, with enemies capping at level 200 and with 3* rewards. Since newer players haven't developed an intimate understanding of the mechanics, grinding will be far lesser so 7-day events won't seem like such a chore. In the meantime (and running subsequently), veterans have the choice of joining 4-day non-story PVEs (basically, The Simulator) with enemies capping at 395, and rewarding 4*s. Veterans have already played Story events ad nauseam and know every bit of dialogue and turn of event by heart; similarly, we have played against the dark avengers until the complete exhaustion of our wits and tolerance so we don't really need to be playing rehashed Story events for then nth time.0 -
It was hard getting down to three, but I bit the bullet and here we go...
4* DDQ: An absolute necessity at this point. The 4*'s are flying in left and right with no end in sight (didn't mean to rhyme lol). I think the point of adding characters is to actually make them playable and max them out, right? This isn't happening right now. I'm going on over a year of play with not one maxed 4*. This needs to change. Even with the addition to of 1k and 1300 4* rewards in PVP, and a 4* cover in SIM, that's just ONE cover in a rotation. There are three in The Vault, but again, ONE cover. What about the other 12? Getting the build you want is a WHOLE different story.
Roster Slots: Most needed aspect of the game, yet you get punished for progressing. Doesn't make sense, especially for those who P2P. The money you invest actually diminishes over time. I bought 2900 HP for $20 during anniversary week back in October 2014. That got me 6 roster slots with 500 HP left over. If I invested the same $20 today, I could only get 4 roster slots with 100 HP left over. I know D3 capped the roster slot price at a 1k per slot, meaning if I invest in the future, it'll be just 2 roster slots. This area still needs help, but I give D3 credit where credit is due in at least not completely ignoring this issue.
7-Day Events: Might as well be called "Hell Week". Too much grinding, too many nodes, too much time, too many days. Just TOO MUCH. These events add way too much weight to gameplay. A DDQ, PVP events, Lightning Rounds, SIM, and then a 7-day event? Plain insanity coupled with MAJOR burnout. It's hard enough holding your breath fighting for a top 100 for 3 or 4 days. 7 days is BEYOND.
Just my two cents...0
