    Jack, how do you end up in these events? You seem to be the king of jumping in late and asking for vet verification. Wanting to see how the strategy ends up working on a consistent basis.

    For Ant-Man, I jumped in at like #14 and did an hour+ of grinding, but had to get to sleep, so I went to sleep with an hour left for everyone else to go crazy. Finished in the 70s, so still got an Ant-man.

    I have a full roster, so I can hit all essentials and typically push through basic nodes. Just depends a lot on my work/sleep schedule, but I tend to be able to hang in. I don't think I've had a T10 finish in ages though. There's just a limit to how much I am willing to push.

    I do well enough for me though.


    I also totally accept that this is a complete gamble. Brackets sometimes don't fill and I have to wait for the PvP feature...

    I've done the same thing, got at least one cover of PX, Ant, Carnage, Thing - missed on KP though when no late shards opened. You run the risk when trying it.

    But then - the risk seems small compared to running the event for seven days getting one or two covers. Or seven days with not enough sleep to try to get that third or fourth cover. I'd rather have no covers than run D3's PVE schedule.

    What i mean by this


    Someone who joins on day 1.. Day 7 the ess nodes start at 800 pts say.. If i never join and jump on day 7. Would those ess nodes till give 800 pts or are the pts higher for jumping late

    Points are the same. So you cut down your progression opportunities dramatically.

    s5 currently at 962...I have an hour drive home so from 415-515cst I won't be able to give an update. I am thinking now that it will be 8-9pm when it fills.

    Got word that slice 3 is at 921 right now. I think it's doubtful it will get enough folks before 2pm PDT tomorrow...

    Just had an Alliance mate post his unfortunate luck of being 1000 in S1. I am not sure if it's Vet or not though. This was at 4:02 pm PST

    Based on what I'm seeing. That was likely a non-vet bracket.
