    s5 @ 891. Still filling at same steady clip, should fill up tomorrow around lunch time or so. I will post an update right before I call it a night and first thing in the am if it is looking close to the cap.

    So slice 5 probably will fill some time in the next 24 hours. But it will be down to the wire. That bracket will likely be fairly Grindy. icon_e_smile.gif Not sure about slice 3.

    As a side note: these 7 day events are starting to develop a pattern: several fresh brackets in the first few days, then a LONG wait before one or two fresh brackets open in the last 12 hours.

    There isn't much oportunity to play 3.5 days and be competitive. Its grinding out 5+ days or hoping for a last second Sprint.

    another summary:

    slice 1 = 355 @ 17 hrs ago
    slice 2 = 911 @ 9 hrs ago
    slice 3 = 913 @ 4 hrs ago
    slice 4 = 881 @ 6 hrs ago
    slice 5 = 932 @ 2 hrs ago

    it seems 2/3/5 all might/should fill and 4 has an outside shot? 1 is definitely not happening. hopefully they don't wait until 2 hrs left in 5 again - that was a pain

    s2 traditionally doesn't fill again and the numbers/gain rate don't suggest that's changing, i think it's down to slice 3/5.

    It will probably trickle towards the end as everyone is waiting for everybody else. Just those who don't know about forums/LINE who will join without knowing the bracket numbers

    Or start playing MtG Duels: Origins when it's finally on Steam (come on, come on, not here yet?) and NEVER look back to games like MPQ.

    Slice 3 hardly gained 20 players in 12h, roughly. At this rate, this bracket will never fill with only 1 day 13h left. Obviously, I hope I'm wrong! icon_e_biggrin.gif

    Whats the line Id? or do you just mean your personal alliances?

    s5 pushing 950 now, get your racing shoes on! If it fills before 5pm(8 hour window) it would be interesting to see if a straight grind or one lap and then wait 8 hours before grinding would score the most points in the current sub. Does anyone know from experience what the breaking point is?

    Can you post the leaderboard? Or the top 3? Just want to be really sure we're not all looking to get skunked! trap.png

    Check out the threads for antman events etc, it seems like it worked better for them, then sitting in top 100 for 5 days and then being on the subway or unable to play for a few hours and being knocked into the 200's unable to recover

    For Ant-Man, I jumped in at like #14 and did an hour+ of grinding, but had to get to sleep, so I went to sleep with an hour left for everyone else to go crazy. Finished in the 70s, so still got an Ant-man.

    I have a full roster, so I can hit all essentials and typically push through basic nodes. Just depends a lot on my work/sleep schedule, but I tend to be able to hang in. I don't think I've had a T10 finish in ages though. There's just a limit to how much I am willing to push.

    I do well enough for me though.


    I also totally accept that this is a complete gamble. Brackets sometimes don't fill and I have to wait for the PvP feature...
