    50 tops - slice 5 picked up most of the late jumpers last night. Very few gamblers left to roll the dice on S3 or S4.

    Bracket fill always picks up in the last couple of hours - 2 possible reasons. Less options (since 2 slices are closed) and non-forumites hoping for a random fresh bracket late.

    Turned out to be 95 very late entries in the end. top had about 8.5k. top 20 was 5600 (sadly, that's about 300 points more than I managed to get icon_e_sad.gif ).

    Thanks everyone for the updates! Two Jean covers for less than half an hour of PVE is a good ratio.

    i was so relieved to get in a fresh bracket, but the second i finished the first node of course my boss calls and wants to chat me up! still managed finishing 88 of 95 with a whopping 200 pts....maybe the easiest 4 star ever.

    Yeah, it's always a wild gamble if a bracket is going to fill in the end and this time for slice 3 it was in the last 20-25 minutes. Lucky for some, unfortunate for others. I'm not choosing sides whether it is 'fair' or 'unfair' that some people get (up to) 4 covers for a short (but very hard imagine) grind. I personally play to hope and get top 50 in a sub (need/want that 50 HP!) and see where that gets me (mostly top 20, but this PVE #26 so I guess Jean Grey is wanted by many), and of course 8 event tokens never hurt. Nice to see that some people get a lucky break sometimes, cheers!

    Hot top 4 in last minute S3. Thank u to everyone for the updates. PVE LR stlye is a better look for me than grindy pve.

    Best of luck to those still grinding and those still playing the late round lottery.

    Also managed a top ten with a total of six nodes in the sub I think. Glad I was able to do that, likely won't survive restructuring for the alliance cover, but that's fine.

    Even as I benefited from it, I think there's something fundamentally wrong with the games reward design when my 24 minutes of play gets me better rewards than people who played a lot more than me over the last week.

    Also goes to show how much of an advantage timing is, when brackets fill more in 30 minutes when they're new, versus the last 24 hours if they're stale.

    That needs to change. Progression for new covers makes sense and is long overdue.

    Those grinding for the entire time got all progression and sub rewards which includes imcoin.png & iso8.png not to mention probably the alliance cover. So not so much.
