    My (Wolveroach) vault has 2 4* (of which both are useful), 16 3* (of which 9 are useful). To buy those would cost me 16250 HP.

    I can buy a token a day for 50 HP, can definitely get 1 token per event, maybe 2, with that account. That's 11 - 14 tokens for 400 HP.

    If that account was a buyer of HP for anything other than roster slots, it would be tempting to buy a Stark Salary and splash out on a 40-pack near the end of the week.

    Total expenditure, 15400 HP, guaranteed gain 1000 HP, 11 useful covers, 11250 ISO and a few tokens left over. Maybe more, if the 12 rewards I value are picked early. Yeah, right.

    I think the size of the vault, the rewards, and the costs have been carefully calculated to tempt those with weak wills. Like me. Hold fast.

    Switched device from iPad to iPhone, killed the app twice on the phone, still the same useless two purple Elektras in there.

    Thanks you are a life saver! I sincerely hope this isn't a bug.

    I can't reset it anymore, it's a bug. They need to rethink this because some folks can get stuck with garbage for a special event.

    I need both 4*s from my vault, as much as you can need icon_starlord.pngyellowflag.png and icon_elektra.pngredflag.png .
    Then there's the imcoin.png , obviously, as well as icon_cyclops.pngyellowflag.png , icon_lukecage.pngyellowflag.png and icon_lukecage.pngredflag.png .

    That's 6 items I need, so 12% odds of pulling something good, which are amazing odds, compared to theusual ones. I'll be buying every single daily token.

    I need zero of the 3*'s and both of the 4*'s....like wolf, "sort of" when it is Elektra/Star Lord. No reason for me to spend HP for the tokens to improve my chances for that junk -- but that's ok, it means I don't have to try to push to 900 in each of these events when I should be spending that holiday time with family.

    Dont need anything but the 4*s and a falcon yellow in my vault, no luck on reshuffling.. so my extra 3*s are Rags and Sentry, joy....

    Yeah I think they needed to let reset this vault for 50 or something like that. My vault 4s and 3s are a ****, I dont need any of them, so I am not going to spend a dime here, 1000 for a reset is crazy, and I could have spent a lot If I had something decent...

    woke up today bought a daily deal for first pick of the vault..... 1000hp icon_e_surprised.gif . think im just going to call it a weekend and go enjoy the rest of my weekend in RL. don't think it is going to get much better then that.

    My vault is pretty useless. Two IW covers I don't need, and only 1 of the 16 3*'s is a cover I'm missing.

    Mine has Prof X blue (would be my 5th, but I can get the same 5th cover from SHIELD Sim), Elektra Red (technically needed, but eh), and one each of Iron Fist purple and Daredevil red, each of which is the final cover I need for the respective characters. All together it's 5 out of 50 possible draws that I can use. It's worth a spin but I'm not super excited about the stash.

    I thought the 50 HP looked like a good gamble, so I went for it. And pulled a 2*. Figured I'd grab another, but didn't realize it was 10x the cost for the second one.

    Ow. That really, really hurt. I just accidentally blew 500 HP on one single token..... at least it dropped a needed red Steve for me, though.

    Not a total loss, and a valuable lesson learned.

    With the assumption that you only need the 1000HP:

    On 9 tokens (3x3 PvP), your expected value (EV) is +180HP
    On 10 tokens (one daily deal) your EV is +160HP
    On 11 tokens, you're down to 142HP

    So if you don't need a 4*, the daily deal is a waste.

    If you need 1000HP and one 4* ...value of the prize is 1750HP (i'm ignoring the small chance you draw both)

    On 9 tokens, the EV is +578HP
    On 10 tokens, the EV goes up to +603HP
    and so forth. up to 18 tokens = +859HP

    Obviously holds for needing both 4* as well.

    EDIT: Got ahead of myself. Investing 400 for a 280HP gain is a losing proposition. So the daily deal isn't worth it on one 4*. It is worth it if you need both (2000HP expected value, ignoring 2+ successes), your 400HP investment gets you an increase of 419HP.

    double edit: Nope, i was right the first time. The EV already accounts for the HP spent. so if you need a 4*, it's worth it to gamble on the daily deal every day, with the understanding it is still a gamble.

    So, 350 HP saved on my end. If i didn't actually know the crappiness of these rewards, i would have purchased one per day for 50 HP.

    If there were no 2* in the vault and were all replaced with 2000 ISO / (HP but I doubt it as the expected value is already 20 HP) / Health Packs I would probably go for the daily deal. This special vault should also include a chance at all 4*'s (perhaps even a guaranteed Thing slot). I need so few covers at this point (0 are present in my vault) that I would be spending 50 HP on 250/500 ISO.

    I could use 14 of the 3*+ covers in my PC Independence vault. So far I've gotten two 2* for my trouble. Mobile has pulled a 3* cover from it, but meh. I want that XForce, one of those Falcons, or one of those 3* Marvels, dangit.

    So I read the odds above and thought okay, I do need the 4*'s the 1000hp and a few, few of the 3*s

    So I've bought 2 tokens and it has only made me less likely to spend real money on this game except for direct cover purchases. I big thank you to the devs. Every time I think I want to buy a 42 pack or whatever I just remember things like this.

    Its way too much of a gamble, for hp I win in events alone its such a let down, never mind real money, which I think I've spent $300 on this game. Crazy, and I know lots have spent thousands. So 100 hp for 2 2 stars and now the odds are ever in my favour.

    I really wish these so called free to play games could get the spend spread out more.

    Please devs, implement a reward structure like I suggested twice now for those that spend real money, I'm not just asking for me, I enjoy this game and want it to be around. You will burn out these people.

    Ask your self this, would the money you spent on this game be worse invested in casino or lottery spending?

    You will likely have won money on the casino and then been able to improve your roster more through cover purchases etc.

    Seriously, would every $100 spent give you one bonus cover of your choice, or a multiplier on iso and hp or something be too much to ask?

    It actually might be too much to ask. If D3 ever decides to offer a bonus on $100 purchase, I suspect they would need to ask you to send a ticket to customer support to provide that bonus manually.

    I'm actually in the same boat. After I received my 300 points token from Rogers pvp, my indie vault got locked in---only the 1k p is needed in my vault. I am hoping after expiration, the indie vault would offer better items on reset.
