    I did a test during the Wolvie tourney that heavily suggested that your team is the last one used. (Grinded up to 400 points with Hulk/Punisher/Wolvie, then won a match with level 35 wolvie / level 1 yelena / level 1 widow. Got attacked by a ton of people that had low level teams after I put up the tank team) Not sure if they changed the system inbetween these 2 tourneys, but I think it's pretty unlikely.

    They changed it before the Wolvie tournament. It is a coincidence that you got attacked like that. They changed it to prevent people from throwing on a shield and putting in a bagman team. If even one or two people do this in tournaments it allows people to actually get those 1800-2400 rewards due the point inflation.

    I think you're mistaken. They made it so that you can't retreat with a bagman team anymore by making the team that shows up the most recent team you've won a match with. There is no way that me being attacked like that was coincidence: a 120 hulk / 105 punisher / 85 wolvie is not going to be attacked repeatedly by teams such as 60 thor / 50 m. storm / 40 m. widow. I have to emphasize that I was attacked at least 15-20 teams by weaker teams like that, which could have only happened if I put up the bagman team.

    I think what they did to eliminate the tanking you're talking about is to make it so shielded players drop out of sight for matchmaking. You only get attacked in retaliation while you're shielded now.
