If anything, I'd cheat just to give me tons of ISO to upgrade characters. I too want a challenge but I don't want to be working this hard for a free to play game. This isn't supposed to be dark souls.

I gave my gf 500k iso and 50k he to start off and she ran thru it like nothing but she's having fun fighting the pve missions and only upgrading as needed to keep it interesting. Needless to say this is an example of someone actually enjoying the game without having to worry about the bullsh1t.

No harm done besides keeping my dam $ which I've spent over $200 on this game already.

I avoided responding here as the devs on Monday/Tuesday will lock it ban him and hopefully Ip ban him (can use a proxy but that's a pain...takes a diff level.of sad sap to take time to use a proxy just to troll a forum). Had to say I keep trying to forget dark souls is coming so I dont wait for it so much lol. Lived the first. Played it during the first few days before everyone had walkthroughs and stuff so you knew the ppl completing it were actually learning via talking with others and the in game messages to some extent. Was a pretty awesome experience. Like jumping back 15 year to before the internet ruined single player experiences for so many by having ppl not have to try things themselves because "there's a walkthrough for that."

@ elracing ... yes harm done as its equivalent to pirating the game.

And them nerf in rag right after I spent a ton into getting his covers plus iso isn't basically **** fraud? Don't give me that **** "it's wrong". It's cap and you know it. If we want to throw morality into this whole situation I still have lube to whipe off my rear from all the hard pounding this game has done lol. My time, others time, my money, others money, the constant (terrible) changes that changes what we actually paid for to something a lot different.

buyer beware. if you didn't even bother asking for money back then you are just being unreasonable. if you asked for money back and they said no then...buyer beware.

beyond the lack of dollar value in iap do you think if you bought an extra character in a fighting game and the next day he was nerfed you would deserve to get your money back? What if you played with him for 2 weeks before the nerf? It's not.like they took the character away. ill even avoid the laughable excuse of why ppl bought rag in the first place (a win button) because let's be honest...the character of ragnarok himself is rather throwaway and I doubt more than 2% of the ppl using him tops actually are fans. so why would you "allegedly stupidly" spend money on him? Because he was overpowered. what do good companies do when something is op? They balance it. I have no sympathy for ppl who bought rag covers to be honest ...just the ISO ppl put into him (which they should have allowed a 100% refund on ISO and a refund on his purchase if it was done within, let's say, 7 days before the nerf.

That'snot me letting them.off the hook. as I said the compensation for those unhappy with the nerfshould have been the chance to sell him back at, or nearly at cost...they didn't do that. heck, they didn't even give notice. horribly done and unforgivable for some ... and with reason. lost a lot of trust and started a lot of the spiraling.

I also won't let you off the hook. its exactly the same as pirating a movie or any other videogame. I don't like dead space 3 hav ing microtransaction. (They ended up being trivial at most)..does that give me a right to steal thier game? Or maybe a better example...is it okay if I.steal just the single player content for a cod game because "the multiplayer is the same and I bought last year's instalment?" ....Short answer ...no. I won't knock you on the fun of unlimited ISO if you are doing it offline but even then remember that due to the nature of iap and f2p models you are basically torrenting thier game if it were not f2p.

it will be interesting to see where, legally, supreme courts and other countries' legislation decide about digital only content. right now? You own nothing if it..its basically a rental. you would be owed nothing if d3 shut down servers tomorrow. that is part of the understanding when you make a purchase. if you don't know that..then you probably shouldn't be making purchases in the first place. of course, iap count on ppl making knee jerk decisions to survive as any intelligent thinking individual with even a mild sense of money wouldn't put money towards a f2p game unless under the guise of it being "sorta like an immediately repaid kickstarter.".

again, frustration is warranted. I understand the allure and reasoning behind it....but stealing and pirating is stealing and pirating regardless of the reason. if you murder someone a week later for murdering your brother its still murder. ppl might understand and even sympathize, but it does.not make it any more or less legal or right.
