The Red ISO events were pretty fun - especially with boosted Captain America in the snow getting 2nd tier Environment and flooding the screen with blue.
I've enjoyed both Hunt missions - particularly the Devil Dinosaur guest appearance.
I liked the format of the Hulk event - and giving everybody 1 Hulk cover was great, it actually felt as though that Global Score meant something, that I had been collaborating with other players somehow.

I was disappointed that DD didn't make an appearance during "the Meeting". I was also confused why Storm showed up if this was supposed to be the Daredevil event. Surely if the story was going to be about mutants it would have made more sense to add a new mutant to the roster as a result? That would have raised my opinion significantly if it had played out that way; find out that Magneto is up to no good, and as a result another mutant is recruited to the cause.
If the next new cover's a mutant, you might've just figured out who the guest appearance in those missions will be on the rerun. It'll make sense then.

Gotta go with the Hunt (the first one). The first few PvEs were challenge rounds (like this one) or red iso hunts (picture of the world, like 3 matches every 24 hours). Jumping into the Hunt, I expected the same. I beat like three or four missions, and then WHAM, a whole new sub-event opened up. Second would be the Hulk event, because the surprise of the free Hulk was really well done.
  • The 2nd red ISO was my favorite. Didn't seen to have as much rubber banding and us who like to grind a bit actually got rewarded for it.

    The Hunt.

Where the only rant was about getting a free The Punisher. Oh, to be young again!
  • I liked red ISO. It had purple spidey and captain America (back when he was new) as mission rewards. The missions could only be done once but you still had a nice chance of winning a cover. Now they standardized on 100 ISO, 500 ISO, standard token, boosts. Pretty boring.

You only had to do each mission once and only had 1 or 2 repeatables, which I didn't think I could do until I tried one on the last day. Even without a great team and tons of time invested you could finish with some nice rewards. Also, each day had different missions and not multiple repeats of the same subs.

The latest events have been boring grindfests even without counting the high level opponents. I burned out on Thick as Thieves about halfway when I saw 12 missions that we would have to do over and over again every 8 hours for 3 days.

Not even bothering with the new PVE because the DD covers require the same missions to be repeated over and over and over and over and **** it. I'd rather spend $20 for two covers than do this.

Red ISO was fun. Heroic Oscorp is work.
  • I joined during the first Hunt event, so I missed Red ISO unfortunately.

I enjoyed the Hulk events the most. I liked that battles per sub-event had progressively higher battles (140s, 230s), so that you could progress in each sub-event based on your roster progression. High progress players would lead the boards, but at least rubberbanding would allow newer players to catch up and get progression awards.

I liked that everyone got 1 hulk cover.

    I liked the worldwide locales.

Although I dislike the re-running of sub-events during an Event. I'd rather they just play each sub-event once, end the event, and maybe re-run other events.
  • I really enjoyed The Hulk and Unstable ISO-8. They were fairly fun and balanced for me, even when I was low level.
  • 1st run of The Hunt - this was also my first PVE event, I joined just as it was starting

    1st run of the Hulk

2nd run of the Hulk (which was actually run slightly better so that we could get all the progression stuff and all, but since it was a repeat and we'd just seen it all was slightly less enjoyable for me than the first run)

Ares run of the Hunt (ironically I enjoyed this less because I was getting sick of the repeats and wanted new events, I should have been careful what I wished for!)

TaT (well.... the first day was fun, before we discovered the levels didn't reset ever, not even when a new subevent started; and right at the end beating up on the Hood was fun).

    Heroic Oscorp (irredeemably terrible)
  • All of the Hunts were good. Moreso Hulk only because of the Hulk.
