What has been your favorite PvE?

Seeing so much in the way of negative topics currently, understandably so with the current PvE situation, I was wondering what PvE have you enjoyed the most? Perhaps some positivity would bring a little respite from the current situation. Plus, knowing the devs read these posts, perhaps they'd be inclined to see what we enjoyed in the past and reconsider reusing those ideas going forward. I'll start:
For me I think it was the first Hunt event. I liked the submissions that opened up, there were plenty of rewards and a LOT of iso to go around! The enemies were set at reasonable difficulties across the board, in my opinion, and I got the placement that I felt was fair for the amount of work I put into it which sometimes was decent and sometimes was not. I've never been a top finisher in most of these events but for me the first Hunt was juuuuust right and very enjoyable.
Second place goes to the first Hulk event. I felt it was similar enough in the good areas as compared to the first Hunt and I thought it was awesome on the part of the devs to include a level where we all got a Hulk cover for playing.
So here's hoping we can keep things positive here... What have you enjoyed the most?

My favorite pve is before they patched things and made this game a living piece of ****.0 -
Swing and a miss! But I could tell you were trying. Anyone else?0

The one's that aint broken which means ummmmmmmmmmm PASS0
-
I'd say either Hulk or Ares' Hunt, altough I enjoyed second Hulk more - just don't like Ares, nothing inherently wrong with his event.0

I started playing in december ,so i missed some of the PvE events.
My favorite was the Hulk ... the story was interesting, and i really liked the idea of going in so many countries to stop the Dark Avengers and convince Hulk into joining us.
We even reached Romania (my country), but i remember there was a really mean Ragnarok that i couldnt deal with. Also the Hulk event introduced Punisher, and i find him really fun. Also i liked how he was a "third party"...not really on our side, his mission being to neutralize both Hammer and the Hulk.
We protect him from Daken, and he joins us (So glad we prevented his fate from Dark Reign)
My second place was the hunt (second run) because of the amusing dialogues, expecially between Hawkeye and Yelena. Also this event got me to about 19 healthacks and 40k iso, it was an amazing feeling. I sadly wasted most of my packs in Thick as Thieves (going back, i wouldnt even play this event, since after the first subevent i couldnt get any Patch/Tokens reward and i wasted all those healthpacks that could be so nice in PvP)0 -
I was actually really enjoying the Patch event before the umm.. patch. Hulk was fun, but I was a bit too low-leveled.
I have to agree that this one is by far the worst. At least during the last event, we could kill the Hood for 2000 a pop.0 -
Hulk was definitely my favorite.
I do admire how easily "The Hunt:" event can be tailored to new characters, though.0 -
Hulk, Ares Hunt. I like how the Ares Hunt was casual enough that I was able to cover-max Ares from nothing even though I missed a lot of sub brackets.
Not enjoying heroic Oscorp at all. It feels like the outcome is based completely on board layout, especially against Hammer troops. If a countdown tile manages to go off you lose a character.0 -
I've been playing since day one and I can say with certainty that each event has gotten progressively worse with the exception of the hulk event. When the hulk event started it looked like they were finally fixing PvE and it was going to get better. Obviously I was wrong lol. With that being said the 1st PvE, red ISO, was the best. Now they can't decide who they are making this game for although the majority of the time, probably about 70%, it is catered to the people who put in the least amount of effort.0

I joined during the Hulk, so there was little I could do with it. Ares Hunt was the one for me, started to get some decent rewards from it and picked up loads of ISO. I was doing ok with patch too, until the patch as my Loki is at a very low level, but there less ISO, for me with that one.0

Both Hunts and The Hulk were pretty well done. By far the most rewarding has been the second run of the Hunt, since they made rubberbanding sub-event specific, which made it easier to do really well in all of the sub-events, and actually made it semi-required to at least participate in each sub-event to win the entire main event.0

Hulk 2 (not that it was different, I was just present for more than half of it) and Hunt: Ares. Structurally I think Hulk is probably the best thought out because it has a finale and the others really don't, but that four subs at once thing is not pleasant. TaT was pretty good, but I didn't like the vast score discrepancy between subs and repeatable main. Something I feel they really ought to consider is making sure all story content is accessible to more or less anybody and keep the 240x3 craziness sequestered in side-missions for the crazies willing to tackle it. Tolstoy it ain't, but people like to see the narrative element through if they've been playing it for a week.
I'd like the current event for having 12 hour refreshes if I could play it. 8hrs is too much grind for my taste, but I realize some would just end up complaining there's nothing to do on 12.
Wish they'd rerun ISO-8, whatever exactly that is. We cheating Steam client peasants never got to see that, as far as I know.0 -
Hulk. Apparently I need 10 characters in a post.0
-
Hulk.
Do you guys know when moonstone came?0 -
Hunt ares. Lots of Ares cards and HP. Hulk was pretty good too.0
-
I liked the 1st Hunt better than the Ares Hunt. It seems to me it was more generous with the 2* rewards, and the Devil Dinosaur mission was repeatable. Hulk was solid too, and got my Wolverine, Cap and Mod Hawkeye maxed on covers.
Thick as Thieves, if it had even worked, seemed a bit stingy with it's cover rewards. The subs were good with all the tokens they gave out, but the main event didn't offer anything to get excited about until the highest levels. I feel like there needs to be several accessible 2* rewards for the players building their roster with a few different 3* rewards available for the rest.0 -

Do you guys know when moonstone came?
I believe Moonstone was a reward to the first tournament captain america was boosted in (shortly after he was a reward for the first 1 star tournament.) The first Red ISO event started at around the same time, where Moonstone was first shown as a villain.0 -
The Hulk was my favorite and the Hunts were fun. Most of the PvE events have been fun with the exception of the latest one. Even TaT was fun minus having to lose on purpose to jigger the difficulty to reasonable levels.0
-
The Red ISO events were pretty fun - especially with boosted Captain America in the snow getting 2nd tier Environment and flooding the screen with blue.
I've enjoyed both Hunt missions - particularly the Devil Dinosaur guest appearance.
I liked the format of the Hulk event - and giving everybody 1 Hulk cover was great, it actually felt as though that Global Score meant something, that I had been collaborating with other players somehow.
I was disappointed that DD didn't make an appearance during "the Meeting". I was also confused why Storm showed up if this was supposed to be the Daredevil event. Surely if the story was going to be about mutants it would have made more sense to add a new mutant to the roster as a result? That would have raised my opinion significantly if it had played out that way; find out that Magneto is up to no good, and as a result another mutant is recruited to the cause.0 -
Hulk & Ares Hunt were both a lot of fun.
I say this even though I was a pretty new player and couldn't complete the last mission in some of the stages.
It still felt do-able & fun (unlike the new Oscorp Heroic missions).0
