    There are a couple of other disadvantages of this approach. Firstly, it doesn't work if you're in PvE competitive alliance, since you won't accrue nearly as many points for Alliance placement. Secondly, if you enter late, and you're a veteran, you're likely to end up in a "death bracket", and you have to clear optimally to place well. There's essentially no room for error, particularly for a 4*, where only the top 50 get a cover (obviously there's more latitude in a 3* release with T150 for a single cover).

    Anyone have updates about anything? Particularly End Times 1, 5 and maybe 4.

    (Preferably something that assures me of a top 150 only, as I don't have enough roster slots as it is already).

    Hrm. That looks like a newbie bracket, since the other Slice 5 we know of has a higher scoring leader. Be wary entering Slice 5, accordingly.

    Yeah. That was the n00b bracket. Slice 5 vet @ 533. One clear puts you around rank 225. t150 still possible here. t50 extremely unlikely.

    At 335 now, weav and SolidQ are #1 and #2 around 68k. I can't see #150, rank 40 all have 36k+. I'd be surprised if top 150 was attainable, since you would be 3 rounds (I think) behind, maybe only 2 behind some of the last in the top 150.

    well poop. haetron - this is the risk you run if you wait too late. no viable options and nothing likely to flip fresh and unlikely to be able to climb up to anything worthwhile. it really works best 1-2 days in, since many refuse to stack pves on top of each other - its my protest of sorts to filling in the 12 hr break between pves (although I understand the ease of the 3/4/7 design - for grinders its a fast lane to burnout). unfortunately when life gets in the way (2 funerals over the weekend) and you really need to wait until Monday, its really a crapshoot at that point and now it sounds like they are opening multiple brackets to make sure nothing opens fresh this late, so really you can only do this 1-2 days in.

    any brackets where t150 is reachable? if there's nothing better, looks like 5 might be the best option, but it still looks pretty tough. if a clear gets you up to 225 8 hrs ago, finishing 150 sounds pretty tough.

    The slice 3 bracket I'm in is at 850 players. I'm starting to suspect this might be a novice bracket: I'm in 7th place @39k points and not really trying all that hard. The #1 player has 66k points.

    I'm usually in a vet bracket and typically place in the top 50 when I put in the effort, so I'm not certain why I would have gotten into a novice bracket.

    I'm in one with 425 people (added less than 25 people in the last 24 hours), with a top score of 69973 held by Sing16, PUERTO RICO is in 2nd place with 68419. Both are established players. I joined on June 8th at appx 8PM CST and it had 404 people in it. As of this post, only 425 people. I do not see Sherlock in the top 10 of this bracket.

    A couple of alliance mates joined slice 4 last night around 10PM CST and got into a fresh bracket. One guy joined and was the 45th person in the bracket. He's a Vet player as well.

    I don't think we can count on this anymore tbh.

    haha, saw what you posted skippy and jumped in - its your bracket with Puerto rico/sing16 leaders. joined at 426. pretty sure t150 is out of the question but gonna fiddle around some....

    T150 is doable, I've put very little effort into the PvE and I should be fine getting that blue Mags cover. I'm not even doing the harder missions, just the trivials and the essentials.

    My mates say their bracket is around 200 people right now. So that's 3 different slice 4 brackets for sure.
