Much as I'd like that Magneto blue 'consolation prize', the points are running away from me way to fast for me to keep up, especially without an IM40 or Nick Fury. Work & baby-care have taken much more of my time the last couple of days, so I'll just coast the rest of the time. Hit that 50HP progression and tap out, probably.

Following the recent pattern will 2* bullseye be an essential in the following event. Have covers stashed but due to expire soon.

Not sure how hard people are hitting this as presently t10 and missing an essential. Surprising did not think I would even be in the top 50 at this stage.

If it was not for the essential structure I would actually prefer the magneto blue. Would definitely get more use.

    Well done with the t2.
  • Yeah, next event, if pattern holds, will be Carnage, ClMags, and DABullseye. I think a large part of the issue is the possible playerbase being thinned out due to the IOs issue apparently. I got lucky and Johnny is one of my mains on the 2 star to 3 star transition, so he was really well leveled, and then I got 2 IM40 covers out of Juggernaut, so I have the 3 star essential as well. Im struggling with the last two nodes both days, so no telling if my performance can stay up for the entire event. Part of me is concerned getting a 4 star is going to backfire on me, if I am lucky enough to place high enough, because the game may think my roster is stronger than it actually is.
  • I don't even think my guild will make top 100...and my schedule will barely let me hold top 150....there's another 4* I won't get and another set of essential I won't qualify for...

EDIT: haha, I guess this is what D3 meant when they said ppl gave up in the Ultron event.....oh the irony....
  • Anyone have a thought as to why my Ironman 40 Essential is level 165 but my Jonny Storm 2* Essential is level 240?
  • Meh. I'll join this event the very last day and IF I happen to get in an empty bracket I'll play. But I'll probably land in a full bracket so then I can just give up right away. To me these week long PvE's are virtually just like tokens: either you get lucky right away or as usual, you don't. In any case I refuse to spend a whole week grinding and just hoping for the best. Not my idea of fun.
  • Just finished Iso brotherhood algeria on my stream, was a quiet stream this time

Wow Russia is truly a tinykitty stage.

You get a Jugg! You get a Jugg! You get a Jugg!
    Every node gets a Jugg!

Lol, its a funny thing when Ares onslaught is not that significant compared to a 19k Juggernaut.

Maybe because you can use HB/Fist on the former but not the latter, so it's theoretically easier. But I don't know why my IM40 node should be lv212

Community scaling. There are more guys playing that have a strong Johnny Storm than have a strong IM40.

I think sometimes this board forgets that the majority of the players are firmly entrenched in 2* land or below.

Hulkbombing my way to top 10 in this sub... wish heals regenerated faster though.

High level Juggs/Ares is the worst. Only node I super-whaled in the Gauntlet.

I'm running Patch-Loki now and praying I can deny red, but I'm trying to ignore them, too health pack intensive.

This is what I have started doing for missions 4-6 too. It's fine for the first 16 hours but not a freely sustainable plan for the end-of-sub rush.

I wish I had that option. But since my enemies are probably at least 150 levels higher than yours, if I try Patch/Hulk, Hulk will be dead long before I'd be able to win.

Can anyone think of a good reason why scaling should be based on one's roster, and not the strength of the characters you're actually using on a node? If I'm using Patch/Hulk and Malcrof is using Patch/Hulk, the opponents we're looking at should be the same.

Because their servers can't keep the PvP points updated, let alone live update enemy levels every time you switch a character in/out?

Can't tell if you're being serious, or just making a non sequitur complaint, but there's not much similarity between scaling calculations that are local to your device, and tracking the scores of thousands of networked players in real time.

Got my Iron Man progression, and am currently 25th in my bracket. Might as well keep plugging away for the Carnage cover I'll never be able to use.

I'm glad 2* Daken/Wolvie are boosted, because they are seriously carrying me through this event (except for those Bullseye/Daken nodes). There's no way I'd have made it through those Ares/Jugg nodes without them

i really don't ask for much...all i ever wanted out of this event was the blue cmags cover so i could re-spec him, but when i realized the grind required in this event even for that kind of placement is soooo not worth the effort (and with my luck would inevitably end up at #151), i jumped ship a few days ago and only pop in occasionally to panhandle for ISO. but by basically ignoring the event i found the time to friggin sod and landscape my whole front yard!? i suppose that could be considered more satisfying in the long run anyway, or at least it should be for a grown-**** woman. icon_lol.gif perhaps this is a better comment for the uber-optimistic best moment of the day thread...
