I go sniper then Muscle- it seems the Sniper usually use his ability first, sometimes there are 4=5 tiles and they are all sniper's

I usually use Steve Rogers & Falcon against goons/ninjas/mobs... So I don't have a particular order that I take them out. But for regular play, if it's Hood/Loki or a team healer like KK/Spidey, then I hit them first. Otherwise I take out the heavy damage dealers first. I usually save the self healers, like Patch/Daken/Rags for last. By the time I get to them, I have enough ap to use 2 or 3 abilities and take them out in on turn so they can't heal. I love watching Xforce drop a yellow recovery tile while he is still at full health icon_lol.gif .
  • It depends on my team make up and their team. Usually I'll take on support first, especially if I have a true healer with me. If I don't have a true healer, or my team has less HP than usual, I will often go after the big AoE...like Lhor or BP.

Against Goons it seems that outside of the heals, the order of CD tiles is the fight order, so unless they are extremely dangerous, I don't change order and just fight straight up.

But priority goes to who does the most dmg thru the course of the fight, either by negative dmg (healing) or magnifying dmg (tiles) or AP generation (Hood) or out right 'that hurts' (BP, Lhor, XF, etc)

  • I've seen it referenced on this thread a couple of times already. I first prioritize the people that are HP stealers (Loki, Orig BW), then I go for the people with the most ability to manipulate the board with persistent tiles, then I round out with just the muscle. Guys like Thor, Hulk, etc. get saved to the end typically.

Maggia Muscle are always the first to go for me. If their annoyingly overpowered strike tiles drop, this means health pack usages just by match damage alone. Next is CD tiles spammers (Lieutenant, Corporal, Maggia Thug), they just never stop putting those out and it becomes a problem fast. Especially if you're using Falcon to remove specific CD (pyro, sniper), you want as few CD's as possible.

    Characters, in order:
    Loki/Hood (AP steal too strong)
    OBW (AP steal + Heal)
    X-Force (black is still dangerous)
    Iron Fist (dat attack tile)
    Luke Cage (negates match damage)

Kishu is the one that drops Caltrops yes? Then a big YES to dropping him first.

In all villain (Dark avengers) nodes, i tend to drop (in order but depending on situation)

    AP thieves - Hood, OBW
    Big hitters - Juggernaut, Ares
Moonstone/ venom/ Rags (depends on the AP they have)

Second all of this. With Hammer goons I always hit the commanders first because they drop the heal tiles like a mofo and their pistol purple tiles have short count downs.

With Maggia goons I tend to take down the sniper guys first because their covering fire tends to drop frequently and nobody wants a 6000+ blue deadly shot going off. Muscle I tend to push to last as long as I'm controlling the board- I almost never get hit with tommy gun and it;s usually just making sure the strike tile generation won't trigger a match which leaves them mostly harmless.
  • On purely goon nodes:
    Maggia:
Thug - low ap quick shots
Hitman - 2 damage attacks. Higher priority than muscle at higher levels. However, if I get Cap rolling, Muscle becomes the priority due to cheaper attack.
Muscle - threaten only hurts if you let anything else go off, or don't clear the cascades.
Don - Both yellow and blue aren't too bad.

    The Hand:
    Kishu: Caltrops
Shinobi: 3 Shurikens are hard to clear.
Teiatsu: Depends. Sometimes you clear them first if you have a good stun ready.
    Konran: slow attacks.

    Ultron:
Generally, fighter, gunner, flyer, though gunner becomes higher priority in ultron prime nodes.
