Don't forget gsBW (and probably others). To me, that's absolutely the weirdest comment made by a Dev. Ever. I get why the Devs might break from the color themes now and then, as Joe explained for SW's , but to just flat-out forget what the themes are... ouch. It makes me feel like I think way too much about this game. I'm constantly critiquing the way Joe talks in the Marvel.com interviews.

He did use the term "complementary" instead of "synergy" and appropriately in this interview... I will take credit for that.

Is it weird for a movie tie-in that they have the original creator for Ultron by Pym in PQ, but the movie has it being Stark instead? Does this mean we'll see Pym (Ant-Man) in-game soon too since he's got a movie coming out as well in a bit?

Maybe it was just weird to see "Pymbots" referenced in the article and no reference to Stark to help with the Avengers 2 movie hype.

Sadly this seems to be the pattern now, hook you in for multiple PVEs to win a 4* character. How many times have they done this before now? (and why can't they do it like Prof X?)
New 2* Cap Marvel essential for 4* Thor.
Gamora essential for Star Lord.
Kamala Khan essential for Kingpin.
Scarlet Witch essential for Hulkbuster.

If this wasn't a new PVE, I'd probably skip it and the hulkbuster PVE after.

It sounds like practically everyone is going to be essential for Hulkbuster, not just SW. And if you plan on finishing top 50 for a Hulkbuster, surely you can win a single SW cover. Also Also Wik, they might give out a SW cover to everyone for completing the first round, at least it seems like they should.

"The whole" minus me. I like frequent character releases. It keeps me interested and playing. There are so many days now that there's nothing for me to do in the game and I go play Hearthstone instead. I'd rather play MPQ.

I'll correct it to say the majority then...it has been a frequent complaint of many people that I have seen.

I'm in the category of those who dislike the consecutive releases (especially when we will have had 5 new characters in roughly 6 weeks - Kamala Khan, Kingpin, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, Hulkbuster Iron Man). However, I suspect that Demiurge's hand has been forced by most/all of these to tie into the tightly spaced Marvel events (Women of Marvel, Daredevil, Age of Ultron).

I don't know about the second part, but I think it's a safe bet that we'll see Ant-Man around the time his movie releases.

For lore's sake, I'm really glad Demiurge appear to be keeping Ultron's Pym-made origin intact. The entire ongoing Pym/Ultron saga is a fantastic read, and I'll be mighty irked if Pym doesn't even get a single namecheck in the apparently Tony-centric new Ultron origin in the upcoming movie.

I wonder if we'll see Pym in-game as an in-match non-attainable Hero character, similar to Gorgon's unplayable villain status?

I think he may be differentiating between control and shake. To me, none of those really exert control (aside from GSBW pink placing green). Not that SWs green is really control if the extra tiles popping are random.
