    To answer my own question, I'm guessing seed teams can't/don't retaliate? If we knew who they were, we could cheeze out some easy points...

    They only show up at the beginning of a match. The ones I know of offhand are:

    Kicksthatkick
    Pryomantic
    WannaBSkrull
    BattleAngel (who should start with a rating of 100, seriously)
    HaiGuyzDoom

    They're usually easily recognized by having an extremely low level team (except BattleAngel). Also, if you try to click on their profile to see their roster, it will say this character does not exist.
