today's ddq was especially hard for me - usually blow through easily but today took me 3 tries. wave 1 gets down powerful tiles quickly in different areas of the board - you almost have to have some luck to get enough ap to take the right guys out fast enough if the cd hits in a bad spot. the muscle yellow are tough because he has so much health to eat through. I hate using storm blue on wave 1 but I did today and it ended up working out ok (on the 3rd time). the strong, quick cds and the attack tiles left - I think this is the hardest opponent group. it has been my experience that if you can get through waves 1 and 2, 3 and 4 go smoothly because I usually get the ap generation train going with babythor, and stormneto. One of my tries was with a 130 Lthor 4/3/4 instead of my ** version at 94 3/5/5 and the lack of green generation and cascades killed me. Lthor will only be useful here when I get his 5th yellow, then will be VERY useful.

I still have yet to replace my 2* team of Thor\OBW\Storm.

The focus is to get as much green as possible for the first round. if there are hand ninjas, i save the grunts (or whatever you call them) for last as they drop the strike tiles. always take down the thugs first. Lightning Storm or Anti-gravity device if CDs are about to pop. Lightning Storm is triple duty because 1) you get AP for each tile destroyed and at lvl 5 destroys 1 tile per green AP. 2) destroys countdown\strike tiles. 3) dem cascades! Thats crazy good and helps fuel thors abilities (like yellow to gen more green on the board). before beating the last goon in 1 and 3, make sure to pop off a few aggressive recons to diminish that enemy AP pool, which also helps you.

my main focus is to have at least 1, maybe 2 Wind Storms for round 2 and 4. then whittle down the last character with other abilities. i can consistently take out waves 2 and 4 without the enemy team ever making a match (except maybe the first turn if i screwed up and killed the last goon early)

I only failed to do this once and that was mainly a bad board as i was cocky and didnt watch cooldowns until it was too late.

what is funny is that when DDQ first came out, i did not have a fully leveled storm. I couldnt beat that last node and figured i would try a match with her when she was about 70 and won. thats when i decided to max her quickly and tacos helped me get the 553 build for her that basically makes her the powerhouse that she is.

couldnt recommend this team enough. 11/10, will battle again....and again

Need a new strategy for today, they got too many threaten's off in the first round, took down my LThor (153) in the first round with a cascade..

Blade, Grocket, Falcon have been my go to team for the Big Enchilada.

I use the same team; it´s super effective.

That's my go-to team for Enchilada too. If you don't have 30 AP in at least one color by the end of wave 2 at the latest, you're doing something wrong. Thor yellow into Storm green = an avalanche of AP in all colors.

I just got Loki from my daily resupply but he's still sitting benched.

Is it worth clearing a space to run through and get a second cover for him?

I'm still playing 2* just now but starting to build up a few 3* covers and Loki seems like a decent one to have on the roster

Loki is a very good support character, and that's something you need to take into account when you're still in two-star land: your two-stars will need to support a three-star, who will likely tank more colours. You'll probably use him a fair bit when you're establishing your three-star teams, but most likely not before then.

Thanks I got him in rotation, couldn't get the loki cover though icon_e_sad.gif That's the hardest Enchilada mission I've attempted so far, guess my 2* roster isn't quite as good as I thought icon_razz.gif

Last two days have been a bit trickier than usual. Actually wiped today for the first time and would have wiped the second time if i didn' start using Powers in wave 1 and 3!
Wave 2 i was untouched but wave 4 was the first time i've ever had to play.

Ninjas can really spam quickly, on the positive side they only pull in two colours and usually exhaust their AP pool.
Will put this down to a combination of bad board and Aggresive Recon not having any Blue to steal.

On the other hand pulled two gold covers from the Tacos.... may have been the first time ever.
Some tweaking behind the scenes, even though it was stated that the Tacos were not touched.

Today's was easily the hardest yet. Those ninjas just keep spamming Strength in Numbers on you, and then leaving 300+ HP of attack tiles behind when they die. If the CD tiles spawn in nasty positions on you, you're seriously hurt (1800+ damage). I wiped hard on my first attempt but managed to barely squeak through on my second.

Devious design of wave 2 too: the ninjas gather free redflag.png and bleed you pretty bad. Who's waiting in wave 2? icon_punisher.png He can insta-kill you with that red when he comes out if your health is low enough. Luckily I had enough purpleflag.png for icon_blackwidow.png to steal some of the red, or I'd have been toast.
