no Fist makes me sad icon_e_sad.gif
  • I don't understand, on any level, why Ragnarok isn't in the rotation yet. I get giving Iron Fist a little more time, but Rags was a launch character.

I have 20 stockpiled tokens this week and it looks like they're going to be stockpiled for another 10 days, at least. The only cover I need for anyone in this batch is one Gamora black, and I'll get it in a month anyway, and I'm not burning my whole stockpile for it.
  • Has anyone been able to confirm carrying over taco tokens between rounds? Mine are in the separate stockpile screen from the previous week's DDQ which I didn't care to try and get any of those covers. I like the characters this round but I fear my tokens won't be pulling from this batch.

I've been asking myself the same thing, and the only thing I can come up with is that they are waiting until the raised sales prices for both characters are over. But this would seem kinda silly, if people really don't want Ragnarok or Iron Fist would they decide to keep them on their roster until they can get an extra cover and then level and sell them for an extra 125 HP (IIRC)? I don't think so, or at least that the fraction of the people who would would be negligible (for any real revenue loss), so I arrive back at the point you already made: don't understand it.

According to my (and many other players) observations stockpiled taco tokens pull from the next round after current (so from round 10 in this case, which probably will be Daken, Squirrel Girl, Doctor Doom, Mystique, Hulk).
However I am not sure if this is always like that, as it seems like a bug.

I saved my tokens from the round before last. During the previous round it was on a separate screen, when this rotation started it moved back to the main token screen. Those stockpiled tokens should change to "active" tokens during the next round.
  • I'll be hoping for some loki & Deadpool covers from thsee tokens
  • Looking forward to finally getting a Deadpool purple cover! icon_e_biggrin.gif That one seemed like an elusive drop for me, and with this cover I will be able to harness a baby whale. icon_lol.gif Hopefully this will encourage my luck to someday pull more purple DP covers when he gets unvaulted. Also this week I'll be getting my 4th red cover for GSBW, oh well, I guess I can downgrade it when I get more green and purple covers for her. I just wish it didn't take so much to fuel her red as it can be very useful in CD based goon nodes.

I can confirm, I've been saving tokens for a while now, as, like Ben Grimm, I need like 2 out of the 12 covers available for each cycle. Basically you can consider it as if there are two DPDQ "Events." If you don't open the tokens, the stockpiled tokens will not have the next set of characters, but rather the ones after. You can keep stockpiling indefintely, as far as I can tell. Right now I have 23 tokens for the current set, 8 for the last set (I decided to open a few when I was on a roll.) Those 8 currently have the last set of characters, when the current DPDQ ends they will have the next.

    Did I say that okay?

Yeah, but it doesn't really matter. Someone is gonna ask again as soon as the next cycle starts icon_neutral.gif

    Because he's still vaulted *rimshot*

I've been meaning to add that my deadpool daily team is 3*Steve/Falcon/Blade ever since MagStorm got nerfed(RIP). Although it hurts not having a 4 turn stun, nothing too bad bad has happened so far.
  • I managed to get around to updating/finishing up Round 8's story "Arts & Crafts". it's not particularly good, but it's done.
Next week, I hope to feel better, and the title of the next serial is "Hygiene Is Not A Greeting".

Dearbluey, I like your stories. The Arts and Crafts one was fun.

I pulled a random Loki cover from a Taco this morning! Woot.

Thanks Dearbluey for your wonderfully creative stories, much appreciated. I've now toned down my playing to just DDQ, and of course your daily writeup, it's for me the only thing worth coming to the forums now amid all the negativity. D3 should really pay you for this work, at least in HP or something.

Wave 1 of big enchilada with those darn attack tiles.. any way to counter that? My daredevil isn't high enough yet to take them all down...
  • Stun the Ninjas before you kill them to keep their ability from going off.

Bring Falcon, if you have his blue covered enough.

Bring boardshakers like Storm, Juggs, etc in the hopes of destroying the tiles or getting them repositioned so you can match them.

Loki to convert them or for boardshake.

Healers like Daken, Wolvie, OBW, Grocket to counteract the damage.

There are a number of good strategies that could be used, but it depends on your roster. And there is always the chance that a bad board could down you no matter what.

Blade, Grocket, Falcon have been my go to team for the Big Enchilada.

Still working on 3* conversion, don't have anyone high enough to be useful in the 3* range outside of LThor, ditched jugs for a roster spot long ago icon_cry.gif
