You get the same ISO and tokens, it would just take twice as long. I never understood this argument for 12h PvE subs. "But think of the tokens you get!" If the subs were 24h long you would get exactly the same tokens just after 24h instead of 12h.

Sure if all PvE was like this (thank god it's not) you would earn them twice as fast, but since it isn't I'd much rather have my 9 PM end time not magically switch to 9 AM and make a 6 AM grind I wasn't ready for.

    IHTHS

If you look at it as tokens/iso per week, there is definitely an increase of rewards.

Many of you are forgetting this isn´t only mobile game, there are some of us playing it by Steam.
And that means I need to get up every morning atleast one hour earlier (befor work) to gring atleast essencials.
It is not pleasent to wake up at 05.45 am because of game.
It is 10.50 pm in EU now, and I again need to wake up at that 05.45 am.
    YEAH !!

    ^ THIS!

We pick end times in the evenings for a reason. That reason being it's literally the only time we can play and you must be able to play in or close to the closing hours to have any shot at placing decently. Having PvE subs at 8hr, 12hr or heck; 16hr jumps just means PC players are always put at an inherent disadvantage against anyone that can manage to pick up their mobile phone and push through a few matches on their lunch break, coffee break, etc. to recover a loss in their standing / placement close before finish of the event.

(Let's not even go into the fact that anything below a 24hr node refresh tends to kitty us in a similar fashion.)

What bothers me about 12 hour subs is missing huge chunks of the event. With longer subs whether i'm busy during the day or sleeping at night i'm guaranteed to at least get one run through the event to play it all and have some fun. I don't even care if i don't hit reward brackets.

With the 12 hour sub i miss entire stages of the event and it's a shame. Sometimes it's fun just to play through the same sub for a few matches before moving on, especially when i'm using a unique team due to what characters happen to be boosted.

It really depends on what your goals are for the PVE. If you only care about tokens, ISO, and HP, then you probably like the twelve hour subs. If you are trying to get top 10, it might not be as good of an experience for you. Right now, at least in my bracket, you need to play right when the sub opens, 8 hours later, and then 3-5 times per node between that 8 hour and twelve hour mark. The worst part about the 8 hour refresh is that end of sub grind, and shorter subs just exacerbate the issue.

Why that model? I understand hitting each node once when the sub opens, that bit is fine but why then at the 8 hour mark?

There isn't enough time for the nodes to refresh in the remaining 4 hours, so the 8 hour mark just seems to leave rubberbanding points on the table by going as early as possible.

I generally run with 30 minutes to go in the sub through to 30 minutes into the next sub, but then I'm happy settling for top 20. If I was going for #1 I would start with 90 minutes left in the sub.

Usually in top 10, the points are close enough that there isn't really any rubberbanding, so any time when the nodes aren't ticking up in points is wasted points.
