I finished the SG essentials in the gauntlet with a 3/2/0 SG, cap marvel and GSBW. It was surprisingly effective...

My back up PvE team is L.Cap and IM40 (not favored by many). Boost yellow into red into shield-a-rangs.

how many yellow covers on your IM40?

Just 1, he's a level 40 1 cover. Thinking about making a 2 for blue feed also, but haven't found another IM40 yellow. I have a 5/5/3 also that I hardly ever use like everyone else.

I used a post-nerf Spiderman for many months in PvP as a great match-damage deterrent. Luke Cage is the new hotness with his Unbreakable token, but good old Spiderman can shut down match damage pretty fast with a couple of purple matches. I had a lot of fun running a crazy troll team of Falcon/Spiderman/Lazy Daken in the Sim, which probably earned more defensive wins that it should have.

I love a slightly-underleveled Punisher in the sim as well; paired with Patch and Lazy Daken, they tank for all of Punisher's colors. It's a great true-healing/quick attack team that makes for a great climbing partnership.

You can max Pun as long as you make sure he's in the far right slot. That used to be my go to team until Blade came around and made Pun seem weak.

If you like Punisher with patch and Daken you should try Psylock with Patch and Daken. BR to Psylocks red for 5ap and a black attack tile for double damage

I use a ton of my roster in PVE.
    Gamora / Psy / Laken
    Steve / Cage / Doom
    Gsbw / torch / daredevil

I know they sound like silly teams, but I burn them instead of using my A level teams against mid level PVE teams

My PvP go to team of icon_blade.pngicon_rocket.png & adding icon_falcon.png to them in PvE / Season Simulator is somewhat uncommon I think although it is a very strong combination. icon_cool.gif

Another combination that I am building right now is more classic with star.pngstar.pngstar.pngicon_wolverine.pngicon_hood.pngicon_doctordoom.png which will soon be all around level 140 & simply waiting for a few covers & iso8.png to max out.

I also like to use once in a while a maxed icon_gamora.png if the situation calls for it.

Next up for me in the levelling up queue is star.pngstar.pngstar.pngicon_humantorch.png & icon_captainamerica.png with also maybe star.pngstar.pngstar.pngicon_spiderman.png as a support style character.

I like the fact that I got in the game just over 6 months ago so that I need to creatively use recent-ish characters following the covers I got my hands on since I began my Marvel Puzzle Quest compared to more classic teams of better established players! icon_mrgreen.gif

Punisher is better imo because after patch rage, he has an aoe to spread the fun.
