DDQ should have a break
DDQ is awesome but I think it should run for a period and then break for while before running again. Kinda like seasons but the break could be longer.
Why? Because its somewhat pulling out the thrill of hard earned covers which we are all accustomed to in PVP and PVE events. DDQ is just sorta doling them out if you have just one cover of a character.

shocked its still going on. i mean this has to be costing them some major cash. what is the reason in buying covers anymore when all you have to do is wait and play this and get maxxed out people for free...
when they said taco pieces i though they were going to make you collect peices then every xxxx pieces you earned a cover.0 -

There is nothing saying you personally have to play it every day. If the thrill is gone, take a week off, but don't ruin a good thing for the rest of us. Personally, I show up for the 3700 iso daily, if I need the cover it's gravy0 -
Of all the silly things to whinge about, this takes the prize.
Please stop complaining about the best thing that ever happened to MPQ - if getting 3700+HP, two tacos, and a *** cover every day is somehow taking the shine off the monkey for you, maybe just play it on days where you actually want the featured cover, but let the rest of us enjoy it while it lasts.0 -
There would be a riot if they took it out now. Besides, if you just waited for all the covers, it would take you years to get 5 of the same color. Ppl still buy covers for abilities they want NOW, particularly new chars.
If anything, they need to buff it to drop more iso or nerf the cost of lvling. I dont think anyone actually buys iso...it is a wall. If anything they might sell more covers if ppl werent thinking that they needed another 400k to lvl those 2 chars after they got the covers. I know i might buy more or lvl more chars
You earn a cover in ddq, and about 3-4k iso depending on tokens. If it isnt your first, you might be shelling out 5-20k to lvl the char after.0 -
The logical conclusion to your OP is that if you're not having fun gaining the covers the way you are, then why on earth do it?0

This exactly, why buy covers for anyone if you are earning covers faster than you can level them. Some players have the time to farm crazy amounts of iso and "keep up" but for the majority I think it is easier to earn covers than to level those characters, and as long as that is true I will have to want something really bad to buy covers for it, otherwise i just funnel iso into someone else and play with them instead.0 -
DPDQ is the best thing in the last 5 months i am playing this game!
and no, it doesnt make buying covers obsolete! DPD is the best way for transitioners to get to a fully fledged 3* rooster and compete with others in pvp and/or pve.
i personally love the ISO u get out of every day playing DPD
and dont get me started on those crispy tacos. best draw rates for *** and occasionally 250/1000 HP?
i myself got 1000HP two times already, which, u named it, i spent on a cover i wanted AT THAT MOMENT0 -
I NEED THAT ISO!

I do admit though how D3 earning from this apart from increase player base & possibly a little investment in the pack purchases (you know, to get that required character to get a chance to win him/her in mission 5), otherwise it's a huge benefit to us gamers. The only conclusion I came up with is just a nice gesture & something fun for us.0

DDQ has actually encouraged me to spend HP on covers. I had a lot of characters laying around in the 7 to 10 covers range. Deadpool has brought a lot of good ones forward to "playable," and if I'm saying to myself, "This character is vaulted, and I'm not going to see this cover again from DDQ for 100 days or more, do I really want to wait?" the answer has been "no" twice so far. Plus I've gotten exactly enough HP from tacos to buy one 3* cover.0

I think before DDQ, some ppl felt they were getting no where with this game and the motivation wasn’t there to continue anymore, so ppl stopped playing. I noticed in the alliance I’m in, a few users with some powerful 3* heroes aren’t active anymore – this was before DDQ and they still haven’t came back.
DDQ encourages players come back and play everyday. If players continue to be rewarded and always feel great progress is made, they will play.0 -
Your opinion is bad and you should feel bad.0

I am a 2-3 transition player who plays MPQ every day and has rostered every 3* except Psylocke. I am not in a top 100 alliance. I get top 50 in roughly half PvEs, 150 in the rest. I occasionally snipe a top 100 in PvP, but I mostly play for the 300-400 progressions. I get my ten pack every season.
Prior to DDQ, I was very roughly earning a usable 3* or better cover once every other day. Given that a new 3* or better character was being released ever other week, demanding 13 more covers, I was actually falling behind in assembling a roster, a phenomenon amplified by the vaulting of many of the characters that were closest to viability for me. Transitioning was becoming only possible with extreme luck or significant cash outlay. With DDQ, I instead win about 3 usable covers every two days. Transitioning is still a slow process, measured in months not days, but it is a process where I progress, and I progress with some measure of predictability. The meta-game of collection has become vastly more fun, because I can set targets rather than relying on the RNG gods to give me the right cover. I know that in another month my Hood will get his 5th Blue cover, and I can plan how to make a serious move as a 3* player in PvP once that happens.
And because of that, I spent 20$ on HP last week.0 -
I'd also imagine taco cover packs are their best sellers now. Wait for who you want to featured and then buy tacos for increased odds + people feeling lucky trying to obtain the featured cover so they can finish the quest. I'm sure it's generating more than any of their other packs (which was probably a big focus when they came up with this), and it's the only viable way to come up with vaulted characters.0

Wait, i've got an idea so the devs will ignore this thread:
BUFF SPIDERMAN AND NERF X-FORCE0 -

Absolutely this! I try to support the new addition and buy a taco 10 pack when it has featured characters I want, and so far I've had very good luck getting a total of about 11 and 3x 250 out of 4x 10 packs. Also helped me get some elusive covers I was missing.0
