It's interesting to see so many different combinations of teams being used. I wonder if anyone has tried a truly terrible team as a challenge - say Beast, Bagman, and Doc Ock?

I took some pretty heavy damage, but I managed to beat it with Falcon (5/5/3), Luke Cage (2/5/3), and Psylocke (5/3/5). Nice quick attacks and tiles that build up pretty quickly. I also had a Flame-Jet team-up, so all of that accumulated green didn't go to waste.

turul has some video of using awesome teams like Electra, Invisible Woman, Doc Ock (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQ1FfM-vxvc) and Squirrel Girl, IM40, and Daredevil (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6HIhPuRWlv0). Not quite as bad as the team you suggested, but he won the greater challenge: to make video of someone playing MPQ that's actually interesting to watch!
  • Tomorrow I will try the final node with OBW, Mohawk storm and, 2* mags. Should generate tons of AP and clear the board like crazy, with oodles of utility. Just squishy as could be icon_e_smile.gif

On my limited roster "phone account" I have beaten the daily every day with CStorm, OBW and 2thor.

Sometimes I use the red-yellow damage boost but not always.

The only time it is close is when there is the Hand goons that leave Attack tiles when they die.

On goon nodes I just use thor red and yellow, I use green APs for cstorm green (wait till u have over 20) you get a **** load of AP.

By the time I hit the phases with characters I can use multiple cstorm blue and thor green. Rinse , repeat.

    Good luck.
  • OBW (94, 3/5/5), mnMags (70, 3/5/5), and MoStorm (92, 5/4/4) completed the final wave of today's DDQ first try.

using polarity shift combined with espionage is insanely efficient at making blue, the reds come naturally and flux was a primary source of damage while generating piles of AP. Storm (should be able to use 1* just as well) uses her yellow for shake, and green to rake in even more AP. Next time I will use some crit boosts or match damage boosts just to speed it up. They are squishy but OBW kept everyone topped off 90% of the match.

Bring whatever team-up you want. You might not need them but you will be able to use anything in your inventory for sure so feel free to use that ballistic salvo you haven't gotten rid of yet.

Oddly this experiment causes me to want an underleveled 2* storm who can hide behind OBW on blue and still throw windstorms around.

So today's round of opponents are probably the "easiest" for a (half-levelled) 2* roster to get.
On my STEAM account, which is my secondary MPQ game, I did it with :

    Level 67 - OBW
    Level 64 - Magneto Now
    Level 64 - Storm

Magneto is pretty decent even with the nerf and his purple move feeds his own red move pretty well if you spec it at 4.

Did use boosts + TU, but it can be done.

As per standard advice, build-up your colour reserves during the goon rounds and make sure you start the hero round first by finishing off the last goon with a power.

For a mid-level 2* roster, the key is having favourable goon rounds, like todays.
