So, before wininfinite was nerfed, I just used that with blade to wreck havoc. Now, I am having some trouble. I have muliple viable options but they are getting killed with the continuous damage that the ninjas leave behind after they die. I have the following:
Level 100
gsbw-max covered per NP
hulk-max covered per NP
mostorm-max covered per NP
punisher-5/3/3
mystique-1/5/4
Sentry-2/5/3
blade-4/1/4
doom-5/2/1
lthor-3/4/1
patch-2/2/4
Level 94-max covered per NP
ares, obw, 2*cap, cap marvel, daken, hawkeye, lil' torch, mnmag, moonstone, storm, thor, a wolvie
Level 92
gamora 5/3/2
Level 91
Falcon 2/4/2
Level 89
Hood 5/4/1
And everyone after that is not viable or not covered enough...any suggestions?

I beat it today with OBW, 2* Thor, and 2* Storm0

LThor + MNMags + CStorm. Worked before the nerf. Works after the nerf. You'll just be using more Magnetic Flux's, and those have a good chance of wiping away some of those Ninja damage tiles.0
-
If the attack titles are the problem, use a stunner to stun before you finally knock them out and this will keep them from using Turn to Smoke. Other options include using someone to do a board shake, or Cap to shield override the attack tiles.0

Yeah, my GSBW carries me through the DDQs with her sniper rifle and I don't even have her maxed like you do. (She does have some help from a lvl 150 Colossus and lvl 127 Modern Thor)
You gotta farm while against the minion waves and then just wail with all your abilities when the waves of actual fighters come at you.
When DDQs first started, I used to have to rely on boosts to get me through the ninjas. Now that DDQs have fleshed out my roster its a lot easier and my roster isn't that much better than yours.
Sometimes it is just luck though. When those meteorite hammers are in a place where you just can't get to them it does mess you up bad.0 -
My lthor doesn't have 5 green (only 1 green), would regular thor work too?0

Mini-Thor/mini-Daken/OBW isn't the fastest option, but is EXTREMELY reliable.
Widow's blue lets you handle the goon nodes methodically, building up the AP to nuke away the real person waves with Thor (generally using Thor's Red to take out the last Goon before unleashing the full arsenal without giving the opposition a chance to act), with Daken's Blue to push you over the top if needed and his strike tiles accelerating the process.
With your roster I'd probably sub in Blade for Daken, but the key is OBW for AP generation and countdown stall and Thor to kill entire waves before they have a chance to move..0 -
I tried widow with patch and 2* daken, but the blues were just few and far between. I have tried the patch/hulk/obw trio which failed because too much anger downed my own guys in the last wave tried obw/falcon/ares, and didn't even get out of 2nd wave. maybe gsbw/hulk/cap may help...i will try them next with all boosts0

Use Ares, OBW, Human Torch/Storm.
First wave with those Teiatsus is the hardest, because you have to save up AP for the 2nd wave, but it should be pretty easy nonetheless.0 -
I have some 166's and a Xforce at 250, but I still prefer to use Ares/Mags/Storm for DDQ. During the goon waves I try to build up red, blue, purple. Kill the lowest health goon however you like. Get each of the remaining goons down to about 800 health and finish them with Rampage. When enemy heroes come in you still get to go since you downed the goons with a power, so lay in Polarity Shift and a minimum of one Windstorm, but you might be able to drop two if you got a favorable board. If you do drop two, target different guys to effectively stunlock the team while you reload.
I get dropped by terrible boards sometimes, but my success rate is real high. And it's fun.0 -

Against the ninjas I actually think 2* Thor is preferable. The problem with the ninjas isn't just that they leave attack tiles behind, but they have super low health, so you don't have as much time to collect AP before the next wave. Lazy Thor's extra match damage just makes them die quicker.cletus1985 wrote:I beat it today with OBW, 2* Thor, and 2* Storm
This is my favorite DDQ team. Usually I can make it through the end of wave four without even taking damage. The ninjas make that near impossible to pull off, unless you get a super lucky Lightning Storm. (I'm going to continue to shamelessly pug my video club submission whenever it's relevant to the topic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aaCjkmXF-pY !)0 -
I got a suggestion awhile back to use 2* OBW, MNMags and CStorm and focus on the purples for MNMags and blues for OBW to build up and it worked my second time thru.0

I don't even use Thor's green. I use the Green for Storm, which fuels everyone else's powers. I'm almost constantly topped at 30 AP.0 -
Some good advice. I usually breeze through it but actually died today because I wasn't really paying attention. Just use something to shake the board so you can deal with those attack tiles before they eat you up.0
-
Used OBW (255), Cap 2*, CStorm. Was hit by one red countdown early on as I didn't notice it.
Struggled a little in the first hero wave, but managed to get Sentinel of Liberty out early enough to take some time.
Finished the last wave with double Wind Storm + Lightning Storm => Wind Storm + 2 Caps Shields.
I generally prefer OBW, Cap 2*, MStorm for ninja days as the green tile destruction helps.0 -
The ninjas were definitely annoying, but OBW / Thor / CStorm worked for me as it always has. I had to spend with OBW twice to heal, but once I got the Thor to Storm cycle going, it was game over. It's not quite infinite, but it's effectively close enough, with a few Thor and OBW thrown in.0

Normally, I find that Cap/OBW and Thor or Ares gets the job done most every time. I'm a big fan of Cap's utility in DDQ. Tile overwriting ability + stun.... speaks for itself.
Today was tough, though. I had to sub in X-force for Ares after a wipe. The strike tiles are killers if you don't have a way to get rid of them.0 -
For fun and in response to this I decided to run Magneto (Marvel Now), Storm (Classic), and Hawkeye (Modern) as my team to get the storm cover. It was successful if challenging.
The Tetsaiu were a surprise but one the team could handle, there is an awful lot of board clear there. I prioritized > > . For fun I bought 3 Blue/Purple boosts to see if I could charge Wind Storm with one use of Polarity Shift, and I was able to. Stormneato lives on. I was able to use Magneto's to kill the final one and clear some board. Up comes Cage/Punisher/LCap. Cage gets immediately stunned by Wind Storm, so no shield tile to deal with. Throw a Mawkeye Blast Arrow. Match a few, another MNM and LCap also gets Wind Storm while the other 2 die. Match some green, onto next goons. With 2 6000+ HP ninjas to climb I collect as much green as possible, and fire of a 30 AP Storm to kill the last guy. This gives me 30 blue between Storm's AP gathering and some more MNM purple. Last group Gorgon gets stunned immediately, Deadpool gets stunned Immediately, use Storm's again with 24 AP this time, gain enough blue to throw Windstorm a 3rd time which killed XF and Deadpool leaving a 4k-ish health Gorgon stunned for 4 turns as my only opponent. Purple-Purple-Polarity Shift-Magnetic Flux-Win.
Speed Shot played a huge role, triggering 5 separate times between MNM and Storm cascades. I was careful to not use Storm's green or MNM's purple while speed shot tiles were out to make sure they triggered. Other than that it was the classic survival node strategy, collect AP vs goons, use powers vs guys. Easy Peasy, and proof positive that a 2* roster does in fact benefit from DDQ the most, if they have at least a single cover for the required 3* gate node. Stormneato is still pretty good, made better with any cheap red outlet (Deadpool, Thor, Hawkeye, Human Torch)0 -

That is normally my go-to option, but I couldn't get enough blue fast enough to keep thm from hitting hard. After 3 near-wipes, I won with OBW/Cap/XForce (mine is 2/2/2). I think that's what I had to do the last time the survival mission was up, too.0 -
I beat today's Deadpool Quest with ** Wolvie, level 78 Falcon (3 1 2 ) OBW, and boosts in all colors. Spammed strike tiles and boosted them with Falcon yellow. Dumped in Bird Strike when needed, otherwise stole AP with OBW purple. By the 4th node I had a few strike tiles in the corners that were boosted to crazy levels I slashed my way through X-Force, Gorgon, and whoever the third person was with ease.0
-
well, my Team usually consists of Stormneto and Hood (now 5/5/2) and a -boost.
you´re gaining AP like crazy through Dormamus Aid and IMO Stormneto works still fine after the nerf. Even though Storm´s blue is (seemingly) harder to get, you´ll get another tinykittyload of AP with 2* Mags red, wich is now freakishly easy to obtain.
And if there should be a goon that just busts you- Hood yellow him so that he and any of the countdown/attack/defense tiles are GONE.0
