I was in line for the first time ever to get enough pts to earn a 10 pack this season in vs , but then they go and change the rules for the final week. Every event could score 300 to 360, this event got 214 pts. First time in 2 months that i did not get over the 300 pt range.

Thank you D3 for ripping me off and making me waste all of my time playing the season just to screw me over in the final week.

Dont have a problem long term, my problem is They pushed this into the final week of the season, they could very easy ran this the entire next season and see what the outcome would been, instead they change the rules in the middle of the season messing up a lot of people scores. Like i said in another topic I say this is the new PVP and your going to see DEADPOOL as the new PVE. If that is the case no reason to keep playing and i fear many others will feel the same way too.

I mean if i had a great 4 to 6 man team and could place top 25 each PVP and now i need a Team of 20 that can rotate every week That is just a pure Money grab from D3 cause your going to have to buy TONS OF ISO to level up all of the people on your Team, Sorry but i just go find something else to play....


I do have ares but after playing 5 people wth 5k iron mans who will kill you with the 19 BLUE ARES was long dead


Simple point is this is a Pure money Grab from D3 and if they are hurting this bad for cash i hate to see their bottom lines. the PVP was the same for what 12 to 18 months then all of a sudden its a rotating group where now you have to have ALL OF THESE PUMPED people and you better have them closed to max or your no longer going to have a chance to stand in the PVP

So mostly Give the upper hands to who paid the most while crushing the newbies.. Real nice way to get a new base there.

Again i know im crying like a little %#$%#%# but it just pisses me off that i wasted all my time this season playing PVP just to be screwed in the final week

Yeah, I agree with you there and I wish they would have done this PvP as a stand alone event ouside the season events like they did a few seasons ago with another change. Don't get me wrong, this change hurt me as well from the other side. With maxed 4 stars I was able to finish top 5 in every event this season up until this one. I finished 6th and never even bothered to use my maxed 4* as the boosted 3* were more powerful. This change was poorly timed, but ultimately it looks to be good for the game.

I also used to jump in with an hour left to get t100 with only 300 pts. It stopped working one day and never started again. Maybe you've improved your roster too much or done too well recently for that strategy to work anymore.

Regardless, if you've got enough roster to ever score 300, you've easily got enough to get over 1000 in the simulator.

Hey Dude, first off sorry about missing the 10 pack. Have you maxed out your sim points? Maybe just push harder in there with some boosts to make back those points?

I agree with some of what you are saying.

1. I don't think they should have changed it in the middle of a season so I agree with you there
2. I didn't like seeing Ares at 170 with 10k Health. That was pretty ****

But I also think you are off base of a couple of things:

1. Deadpools daily is amazing and quite frankly I think it's a better version of PVE anyway
2. I don't think having a group of boosted characters in PVP is a "pure money grab". This really did do what they wanted, it diversified the roster selection even down at the 2* level, Some days it will help you and some days it will hurt. For example, I don't have Ares so this one hurt, but I do have 2* Thor... so when he comes up it will help me.
3. I don't think it really allows the paid people to crush the newbies... Quite frankly I only got up to 400 points total ( I probably could have pushed to 500 if I had really wanted too) and I didn't see very many teams that would qualify as "Paid" if you know what I mean. I think any of the rosters I came up against could have been a ftp account.

I just skipped every match that had Ironman or Ares... lol. There were lots of other (much easier) options still available all the way up to 400 points.

Regardless, if you've got enough roster to ever score 300, you've easily got enough to get over 1000 in the simulator.

I think the 1 hour jump is over with. with boosed 1 star and other boosted players your going to have longer matches. Yea i could go to the sim dont want to put the time into it but guess i have to now . SHAKE FIST #$#$#$ YOU !!!!!!

to the person above me.... Not cutting on Deadpool dont take that from my answer, im saying i think we will see PVE move to what deadpool is, the PVE we see today days are numbered and i think will force many people away. I mean how many newbies even have a chance at gaunlet.

Dude, I've played this game for 470 days now and I've been mostly free to play (the only character I ended up buying a cover or two for was for 4 thor a month ago and I'm paying the price for that now). I remember going from under 200, to 300, to 400-700, then spending months to get to the point where I could reach 900+. If you think it's difficult now for newbies you should have seen it before. Alliances, Shields, and Deadpool's daily makes it much easier for newer players to boost their roster and this boost to 3*s makes it much easier for 3* roster players to complete with the 4* rosters. We've all gone through the stages of being bait for the sharks. You have to keep playing and keep building your roster and in time you go from being the hunted to being the hunter. And when you do get there, it's extremely gratifying.

just looked and got 2700 pts in season. with 2 events left if i can get close to 300 would push me to 3300 and then 800 pts in shield = 4100 but just means more work in sheild and must hit close to 300 in next 2 events

EDIT just found out its the same boosted people for the next 2 events.. They wanted to see more teams yet they make the same people boosted. Just forget it no reason to even play the PVP. Did not come close to 300 tonight wont on friday or sunday. so point stands thank you D3 for screwing me out of that 10 pack.

I just reached 4000 points and got my 10-pack. 1 Patch yellow, which made it all worth it.

I had no problems hitting at least 400 points in every PvP with Ares, OBW and Lvl 104 Luke Cage, so I don't quite understand where you're coming from. Climbing team was 2* Wolvie, 2* Daken and 2* Thor, which made hitting 300 points very easy. After that you start to get attacked, but 400 points is very doable.

I'm very sorry you are frustrated. I also feel like a jerk for what I'm about to say next. Just as you are frustrated at D3, it is frustrating each and every day to see people complaining and whining. I started last September. Here are some resources that helped me.

1) Read Northern Polarity's guide.

2) Pay attention to what scottee posts.

3) This is a marathon.

4) Post your roster. Ask for help.

5) These people who make this game. They are not your friend. However, they are not your adversary either. You have your goals (adding covers, getting superheroes you like, becoming more powerful in the game, executing a planned strategy and getting a reward, ...) The devs are here to challenge us. To push us out of our comfort zone. To create characters that appeal to all crowds who play this game (Powerful Heroes, Joke Characters, Combo enablers,...)

But please. Stop complaining. It will do you very little. Put your time and energy into research instead. I;ve been recently (1-2 seasons) with a top 100 Alliance. I merced for them once, and they invited me back. They help me become each and everyday. I encourage you to find an alliance that suits your playskill.

Please, stop being negative and yelling at D3. Please help make the forums more enjoyable for those who visit it.

Again, I'm sorry for being rude. I'm just getting tired of seeing complaint after complaint. It's a match three game on mobile phone / computer. Which brings me to the last piece of advice.

I agree about the principle that the OP is trying to convey. D3 has a bad habit of doing big changes in the middle of a season. The buffed up characters can really stuff up newer players. I just got my 10 pack yesterday and scored 2x 3* and 1x 4* cover, so I'm very happy to have hit the 10 pack reward

But yes, as other posters have said, play the Shield events. Thats what many of us have to use to boost our season score. I got 500 points from Shield matches and some of those wins have been very juicy wins (like 40+ points)

when I read the title I thought you got ripped off by buying a 10pack...turns out you just didn't get a reward you thought you deserved. I feel ripped off too because when I was in 2* land there wasn't really an option to earn a 10 pack reward.

I did think this PvP was slightly tougher but I think it may be exacerbated because it was Laken's coming back party since he's been out of the rotation. My alliance mates and I were definitely gearing up for this PvP because it was him. I've always felt the Laken PvP was one of the more competitive ones in previous seasons...

Maybe the next few rewards will be less desirable and thus slightly easier? Rags red anyone?

And I'm up to about 1400 in Sim, and still seeing 2* opponents worth 25+ there too.

Its his own fault, he is just looking for someone else to blame. In another thread he mentioned he refuses to level his 2*s past 80 because he doesn't see the value in bringing them to 94

have not started sim yet, i will this week (usually wait till the last week so im not attacked 100% of the time)

again im saying its bull they pull this is the middle of the season. They want to know how its going to work do it at the start of the next season. If the plan is so GREAT why didnt they run it for the entire next season and get feed back but nope. And just wait till the make the rest of the changes they are planning then we will see who is so called happy now start to ****.
