Support replied to me that I should express my thoughts on the D3 site so here I am to vent.

I was not affected much by the recent nerfs as most of you were, but I was indirectly affected by them removing Ironfist and Ragnarok as the final 2 characters of Deadpool Dailies. I am expecting my first Black Panther cover tomorrow but because they shifted Black Panther and Magneto to replace the nerfed characters I cannot participate in today's Deadpool Daily. Now this is the second time I am unable to earn him.

It's frustrating when I calculated that I would have my Panther cover before the next DPD but now I'm locked out again. I explained this to D3 Customer Support and their response was simply "We understand but there's nothing we can do." Yeah Thanks a lot you really know how to "support" your customers.

Anyone else affected by this? Did the cover shift also ruin your upcoming plans?

I'm confused as to how the shift prevented you from being able to get the cover tomorrow?

He was going to get his first BP cover from the daily resupply just in time for the next BP DPDQ, but because they left out IF and Rags from the rotation (as he calculated them), he still won't have his first BP and therefore can't win his second from Deadpool.

eta: I missed the first BO by a few days, too. It's a bummer, but look at it this way, it will take you forever to get enough covers to make him useful anyway. You'll be able to get him on the next round. Focus on your other heroes.

Last time I checked they didn't pre-announce the order of the DDQ covers so any "schedule" you may think they had was entirely your assumption. There could be any number of reasons why those characters were not included in the first round. The most likely being that they determined the order of the entire first round before it began which was before either of the characters were announced.

True of Iron Fist perhaps but Ragnarok existed well before DDQ was a thing.

You can guess which charachters are likely to be featured by looking at the odds for the Taco Tokens, the charachters to be featured have higher odds. But anything more than that is simply a guess. There is no announced schedule so best not to assume

True point but with the new third cover and the increased sales price, there was an opportunity for shenanigans and they chose to eliminate that opportunity. I am not offended by that decision.

You're right, they didn't announce any predetermined order but you can simply see that the order would of gone as it originally released if they had not removed Ironfist and Ragnarok from the final two spots. The likely reason is the recent nerfs and the HP refunds of those characters. It would had been nice if they could have tried to help me instead of the generic "I understand but too bad."

You wouldn't feel the same way if it happened to you?

One thing to consider - when the first cover of cycle 1 was given out, there were only 34 3star characters. It is very possible that cycle 2 will have 35 days and that any characters created (of which there should be 1 or 2) during this time frame will not be added until cycle 3.

Not really, I wouldn't have felt bad about this at all.

what you expected Support to do for you? The daily rewards are bonuses based on your day's played. It has nothing to do with DDQ, and the fact that you don't like which covers they choose to give you from DDQ isn't really a support issue. There is no conspiracy here from D3 to make sure you miss out on a cover.

It's just a timing thing... couldn't they have just as easily said you shouldn't have missed any days playing and then you would have already had the cover??

I mean, sure, it sucks... but I can't believe you would even bother asking support something related to a daily reward that they have never announced in advance.

You're right I wouldn't. I wouldn't really care because I'll just get those covers when the are available. Neither of them are critical characters so they can wait.

This isn't the first time the order for the DDQ covers does not match our expectations. Some us assumed the first cycle had a yellow theme. Turns out it was just a first colors.

Guess what? It happens. My insurance policy is up for renewal. I don't have enough money in my account and payday is 3 days after the money is supposed to be withdrawn. Called CS and they told me that since it's a renewal they cannot change the due date. All they suggested was to borrow money from my relatives.

Does it suck? Yeah. But what kind of resolution did you expect?

So you've been playing for 195(ish) days and you haven't gotten yet. You will get a free one soon, and you're upset that you won't have a chance to get another for another month?

Seems like a rather small issue. I don't know what you expect Customer Support would do for you.

how dare did they give you free covers in the wrong order?- an order different than you had guessed but they had never promised

I am thinking it likely that the rationale for having them sit out is likely due to the 'enhanced' sale prices that are already running for Rags and will start running for Fist later today.

The covers for Rags will likely start falling like rain once he is no longer getting boosted resale value. (Fist probably not so much, since he is valued despite the nerf going out today.)

It's one thing to vent about an unfortunate timing situation, but another to complain about customer service being able to resolve an unreasonable request.
As others have asked, what was it you wanted them to do? Push an extra Black Panther your way? Rework the schedule of daily drops or the DDQ?

Probably so that it would be others in the forum to tell him how unreasonable his complaint was rather than support saying something they probably shouldn't be saying.

I mean I don't know what you want customer support to do about it, anyway. This is like yelling at a cashier at walmart regarding their refund policy.

Yeah, they work for the company, but they had literally no hand in deciding the policy or system and can't do a damn thing to help you, realistically.

Technically it's more like asking the walmart returns department about their returns policy while trying to return something you bought at target. CS has the ability to gift covers, they could have been all "man that sucks here's a BP," but they didn't. They closed this case as non-relevant or whatever and told him to vent on the forums.

Not that I'm advocating hand outs. You don't really need a 2 cover BP on day 195 or whatever anyway.
