    A few raw numbers:

Professor X has been downed in this Versus Tournament 1,181,153 times as an opponent.
He has been sacrificed for the greater good (meaning the team still won) as a player 88,768 times.

    You monsters.

    Thanks Ice. That's awesomely terrible.

Having played againss a max level and buffed PX a bunch now I can say with all honest that the bald paraplegic tinykitty deserves it all. keep pouring it on him.

This single sentence was well worth the (albeit free) price of admission:

"If I had seen a devil dino I honestly can't say I wouldn't have trundled him out front and locked the brakes on his chair."

So, is your able-ism part of the joke? Or did you not realize this is a pejorative?
  • It was definitely part of the joke. C'mon, the thought of Devil Dino putting down a Prehistoric Chomp on Charles is pretty funny.

At least he's not sitting on the toilet during a monsoon at an amusement park.

    Dear D3 and associated entities,

Please never have a Xavier PvP event again, or at least wait until I have a few covers.

Is the second line a subset of the first line here? 1,181,153 downed as an opponenet would be just the number of battles that occoured? Or are we the AI's "opponent" and therefore if we lost our Xavier he's in that total?

Also, sometimes my chair-wall only took 4,000 damage and didn't quite die from that thing XF did to him behind the bleachers. Any chance you can tell us how much damage Xavier took in his tournament?
As an opponent: On the enemy team.
As a player: On the player's team.

I don't have an easy way of pulling exact damage done to a specific character across all matches. I can obviously poll the servers for it and pull it all, but it's not an easy piece of data to snag. I can say that in a *vast* majority of the battles that he was in and took >25% damage, he died horribly. The number of wins where he survived is around 1% of all wins as on the player's team in that case. Meaning that if he took a hit, he took *all* the hits.

Actually, making him sit on a toilet at any amusement park would be crueler than anything OP has done. And that's without the monsoon and Trex.
  • You think this is bad? Wait until you get to the end of the gauntlet, where 6 red AP means eating 1k+ damage per turn from attack tiles along with the 5000 or so damage from ALOTT.

I called him hapless, I suggested they were producing freshly crippled professors and I suggested that the most powerful telepath in the fictional world had a colostomy bag. I rolled several dozen of him out to be murdered in cruel and exotic ways. And you think that me using 'cripple' was going to hurt his feelings?

It wasn't a politically correct post because it is difficult to paint a satirical piece about me performing socially unacceptable acts to a fictional individual while trying to only use socially acceptable phrasing. I think it would break the suspension of disbelief.
