Can anyone confirm that saving taco tokens actually makes a difference? I ask only because they seem to classify them a bit differently, as if they pertain to a specific event and as such may not be subject to the new rotation.

That's what I thought too, but they only roll into 2 groups. All the tokens I saved from Week 5 are now active again and will pull at the current odds.

If you have not used a single token, it would look like this.

    Active - Week 1, 3, 5, and 7 tokens (Max of 32) - Pull Week 7 rotation
    Stockpile - Week 2, 4, and 6 tokens (Max of 30) - Pull Week 6 rotation

Next week it will look like this
    Active - Week 2, 4, 6, and 8 - Pull Week 8 rotation.
    Stockpile - Week 1, 3, 5, and 7 - Pull Week 7 rotation

Yes and no. It does make a difference in so far as the 3-stars available will change. They are classified by event, but their are two separated DDQ events that run for 5 days each, so you have to wait an extra 5 days for your saved tokens to update. It doesn't make a difference in that they will all likely be 2-stars no matter when you open them.
