Did they skip Iron Fist in DDQ

I open the game today expecting to find IF in the new cycle, but instead of the expected Captain Marvel (Red), Iron Fist (Green), Iron Man (Red), Ragnarok (Green), Thor (Red) - thanks to SnowcaTT for posting their names last week - I find Black Panther and Magneto instead of Ragnarok and IF. So, will they skip those 2 characters? If this is the case, this is sooooo laaaaame, D3.

You made a mistake with Iron Fist, again. We get that, it happens. You corrected your last one.

You can CORRECT this one as well! We've already seen CMags, take him out of the rotation and put in IF. Problem solved!

You wouldn't WANT your players to think you are being cheap and stingy, having them wait the entire rotation of DPD for IF and then skipping it, right? I mean, you have thirty 3*'s - why wouldn't they all rotate the first color before moving on to the second?

Just imagine the uproar if the next set of five you move on and no one got their chance at the first color for IF! Well, you can easily FIX that now, early on, before that problem comes up!

So far, the only precedent is that hey are rotating though all eligible 3-stars, and giving out first covers. We assume they will switch to second covers for Panther and Magneto this week, but nothing regarding eligibility has been stated that I know of.

Cyclops, the other new character was released 2/17, which was the day before DDQ started, he was featured on 3/17. Iron a Fist was released on 3/2, so I would venture a guess that he may be featured on 4/2, which will be the 9th Taco set (we are currently in 7th Taco set).

Ragnarok has been vaulted for a very long time, starting Season 7, but he hasn't been featured in versus since Season 3. Other characters vaulted Season 7, and even Season 8, were all unvaulted before the start if DDQ. vaulted characters that have appeared in the Taco rotation have all been Season 9 vaulting or later. I believe they want to keep up interest in DA Heroic, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Rags in the next set of Tacos, or as late as the end of the 2nd 'full' rotation.

They did Cage in set 1. This week SHOULD have been Captain Marvel (Red), Iron Fist (Green), Iron Man (Red), Ragnarok (Green), Thor (Red) - those are the only five 3*'s they hadn't done. It was an easy rotation D3!

I was wondering about release date, maybe they'll only put characters in rotation after one full rotation after release. It feels very cheap and stingy.

I doubt they want to add complications to a refund policy by giving a cover away within a few days of making the changes. I would expect them both to appear after the 30 day window. Which sucks for the IF poor like me (2 covers), but is totally understandable. Why make the CS people sort through more info to issue a refund. Rag's they are probably delaying because he was vaulted for so long that many players won't have a change to get him until the end of DA Heroic. He isn't on my roster b/c the one cover I did get seemed like such a waste of a spot for someone with only 2 abailities.

IF not being on this weeks list certainly does strike me as a bit of a first world problem. I guess they hold back new characters back a bit (they treat rags as a new character in the PVE too).

Nowhere in the description did they promise they'll do full cycles, etc. You're lucky they didn't decide to do a full beast/ock/Im40 cycle first

just wait, IF will eventually make his appearance in DDQ as well.

In all likelihood IF is missing because they determined what order all of the then available 3* would be made available in ahead of time. So they'll cycle through all of those 3* and then once they're done they'll reroll the order and cycle through all of the ones available at that time. And so on.

Don't think of it as Iron Fist being delayed, but rather everyone else being a day early.

Just think of what you will be getting early: Defense Grid, Bewilder, Redwing, Mistress of the Elements, Reprieve, World Rupture, Hulk Smash, Animal Inside, & Insult to Injury, just to name a few.

I was expecting both Rags and Fist this week as well, but as we started discussing in alliance, Rags is currently refunding HP for sale, so could be manipulated and Fist was not available at the start of this rotation. We expect the second cover rotation (starting with Panther and Mags) to have 35 covers and whichever characters are added in the next month will wait until the third cover rotation to join DDQ.

It would be great from the communication front if some of this would be confirmed/denied instead of our speculation.

Just shows how powerful IF is perceived to be, justified or not. I don't hear complaining about Rags missing rotation.
