    In reality, when you look at mpq ' s history, they are data driven. This means they make decisions based on data. The more people that obtain covers and use combos like winfinite over time leads to sufficient data to make a change. This gives the appearance, especially to high end players, that mpq knows about problems, but waits to milk it for money. In reality, they are just mostly slow to change because they are data driven.

    Take fist for example, they waited until after an event he was not featured in to make sure the overwhelming data was correct, before nerfing him.

    You can question if relying on data is the best way to make decisions, especially when it seems obvious to us players like sentry, winfinite, fist purple, etc., but mpq is not trying to mislead people.

    I think the main reason ppl feel this way is because we feel we don't get sufficient value for our money on those changes. That I agree with, and I feel that is something worth genuinely fighting for.

    They announced it to 10% of their playerbase.

    Not exactly forthcoming if you ask me.

    Nothing but nerfs alongside a ragnarok rework. Would it have been so hard to roll out nerfs with buffs for much needed characters like Beast, IW, and Spiderman?

    Have bought 2 42 decks since I started playing a couple months back, I'd be tempted to against if not for yengs:

    1. Don't want to risk getting stung by nerfs, to get excited at possibly building an x force (or cage or bp etc) over time only to get moved into mediocrity.
    2. Since I've got most 2* max covered I will end up with a lot of cards I don't need. Iso for covers could use a bump imo.
    3. Scaling has got out of control for me, between scaling and nerfing magneto (who i just got his last purple cover on saturday) it feels like im going backwards and not forwards.

    I loved the game but being encouraged to lose on purpose or not leveling 2* to max to perform better hurts the game way more than overpowered characters imo. Hopefully if these issues get addressed I will start dropping money back into the game. Sadly the fun factor is starting to wane for me in the current state.

    I do love deadpool daily though. More things like that please!

    its just too bad they did not have a 50 buck package that gave you 25k (enough for 10 3 star covers) i would of done it. Would max out my cy (5 covers needed) and used the other 5 to almost max out two more 3 stars, But then i though Why waste the cash i should be able to do this for free in the next 3 to 4 months max.

    Someone else said BUY SLOTS but already sitting on around 1800 HP what i can easy buy 3 slots and will have around 2400 to 3000 by end of month. Since i can dump someone if i get Pro X. Already have Rag so dont need a open slot for them

    These sales are great for newbies though. I mean i remember getting i think almost 15 slots for 20 bucks and it was a great buy.

    Right now at 600 per. 20 bucks would only get me like 5 slots (4 bucks per slot) is way too much.

    Though thanks for having the sale D3 this will help a lot of newbies get the slots they need dirt cheap. Last say was around mid of nov. so about 4 months back so im guessing the next sale will be around AUG 2015. If im still here i will put some cash into the game. Though still temped to buy the 100 buck HP package.

    this sale is a joke, and a very bad one. An insult at this point. When is D3 going to realize +30% is horsehockey?

    It's impossible for you (or me) to prove intent like that. You are merely stating an opinion and whether that opinion is shared by ppl probably depends how much faith they have in the powers that be. It's nonsensical to claim that must be true... or indeed that must be false.

    So from my point of view having a sale to entice purchases without informing the majority of players (ppl are very keen to point out we are only 10% of the players (and ex players?) when defending ignoring our opinions and desires icon_e_biggrin.gif ) about a nerf to 2 of the most desirable characters whom a person might be expected to buy HP to get covers for, which they have already decided upon since they are posted here seems somewhat deceitful/misleading or at least very disingenuous. I no longer believe stuff like this is coincidental where I would have previously.

    Agree with your last point 100% though.

    I would've bought a week ago because I've saved up $60 to spend but these nerfs are making it a risky buy. 30% discount just isn't enough to convince me.

    With all these nerfs, maybe they should make ISO more affordable. When I say affordable, I'm talking about at least doubling the quantity

    They've deceived you with math trickery! 30% 'more' means the cost per hp or iso is : 1/1.3 ~ .77, not even close to 30%.
    Only a 23% discount!
