    Just confirming, as I haven't had a chance to play in this event yet.

    With a single cover in Purple in Professor X, he can turn himself invisible. Was this all that happens? Just seems really lacklustre.

    When he makes a match he boosts a friendly special tile. So... Hail Storm, Inferno, Armored Assault

    With a single cover, he just becomes invisible (and therefore immune to damage).
    with a second cover, he starts boosting friendly special tiles.

    Problem: Heroic event features weak 3*s and a 4* nobody has.
    Solution: Add Squirrel Girl to first sub.

    To be honest, having 1 purple cover for Proff X doesn't do ANYTHING. At least he tanks blue for OBW. Did you guys see the node containing Ares/Goon/Goon? He's fed all 3 of his colours like a spoilt little baby. That node will get real ugly, real fast.

    He's only getting red and green for free. He has to collect the yellow all by himself. icon_e_biggrin.gif

    Juggs and Sentry getting red for free in the essential node is a good time too. Better hope the AI thinks Unskilled Pistol is a super awesome idea or you're going to eat it.

    I stand corrected. The Analyst does not generate Yellow for him. Still, most Dark Avengers with feeders is always a strain on the healthpacks.

    wait so now I am supposed to grind for a full week with a limited roster (and carrying a 1 cover prof. X who is completely useless in that all he can do is make himself invisible) so that I might finish top 20 to earn Rags' mediocre new blue power? Really? sounds like time for a pve vacation . . .

    Is it too much to ask for lazy daken or BP rewards? Those are the essential old characters that haven't been available at all for months now. Instead we get a disappointing rework of rags and then another new 3* the following week. sigh. . .

    Susan does the exact same thing for more than double the AP cost. Clearly the Prof is broken

    Oh man, Professor X invisibility is sweet! He takes no damage until the tile is matched away, and I just had him demolish Juggernaut and Sentry one match 3 at a time LOL!

    I often think that it might be fun to restart my account from scratch, then I play a heroic and realize how much I like my stable of 3* characters.

    Good job devs. This is one way to make Mohawk Storm useful. Lock out (almost) every other 3* character. LOL I'll be doing the same as last time. Join late (last 24 hours - preferably last 2-3h) and hope for the best. Since Rags has been nerfed for more than a year, I'd expected more love for him. Top 20 for his new cover? In a Heroic pve? Ouch. That's not love at all.

    Sorry if this isn't the right place to post this, but would anyone know why I'm coming 2nd in the sub that opened after clearing the 4 nodes that are currently open in the main sub, but 18th overall in my event? Is there a trick to opening more than 4 nodes in the main sub?

    I was just about to say that, but it looks like Human Torch is usable now.

    Should have bribed them more, Mostorm, should have bribed them more.

    Sub is 200 players
    Main is 1000 players

    I normally enjoy Heroic mode, but subpar character selection and odd prize structure makes it difficult to be excited about this.

    I can't help wonder what the next PvE will be though since a featured villain limits the possibilities significantly. We just had a Simulator and Prodigal Sun, and if it introduces a new character the Gauntlet would be an odd choice. Deadpool vs MPQ maybe?

    I just find it cathartic how easy this event is made for me just for playing like a collector. Sure the 3*s aren't great, but after that last Simulator, it'll be nice to have a hope of top 10 for a change with only one softened 4* usable, and a handful of 3*

    This could have been tailor made for me if i had wheelchair willie since my storm is at 166 and torch is over 140. Furthermore i have a 140 ragnarok who is useless without the new cover. But alas, no half baked essential 4 star character so no dice.

    Good work to the oily faced crew as always.
