I had the previous 2 weeks worth of tokens saved up; at the beginning of the week, the ones from two weeks ago turned into this week's tokens, while last week's went into the stockpile. So if you have some showing as this week, and you want this week, open them. If they're showing as stockpiled, I think you need to wait until next week, but they might turn into next week's, and not be able to turn into this week's.

Note: Next week should have Iron Fist (and Ragnarok, for the everyone who needs his blue).

I only have from last week, so I guess I'll just save it until next week and hope for Iron Fist and/or Ragnarok blue then. If I should get Cyclops, Colossus or Ock, the better. Just wanted to make sure I didn't miss out on anything.

I think (emphasize think) that even numbered weeks' tokens can only turn into other even weeks, and odd into odd, but I'm not 100% sure that that's how it works. It may get complicated when they get stockpiled for a long time, but I think 1 turns into 3 turns into 5 ad infinitum, and same for 2-4-6...

Hmm... looks like the Rounds are on the same cycle as the tokens. So far, the last 3 days match the first few days from Rounds 2 & 4.

To be fair, I've pulled 3 Iron Fists in the last week, at least two from Standard tokens. Still don't have a purple, but it is enough to start building up his cap.

Confirming that this is how they work. I saved tokens from rounds 2, 4, and 5. The ten from round 2 rotated in at round 4 with that batch's draws and when I finally spent them (now 20 total) on Sunday, it was the current round's prizes (drew a Human Torch).

I technically have not spent Tacos while they were stockpiled, but I think they should still be the most recent set where they were earnable (My 10 currently stockpiled would still be on the Round 5 cycle until Friday).

Assuming the 2 sets of token theory, open them any time before the 24th. Eg:

Current rotation: (only open current tokens)
Set B (current): Colossus, Cyclops, Doc Ock, Human Torch, Hood
Set A ('stockpiled'): Blade, Captain America, Sentry, Punisher, Wolverine + ... ?

Next week Mar 20-24: (only open stockpiled tokens)
Set A (that week's current): ???
Set B ('stockpiled'): Colossus, Cyclops, Doc Ock, Human Torch, Hood + ... ?

Waiting until next 'week' won't give you any additional opportunities compared to opening them now.

In that case it is better for me to wait until after the 19th since I didn't need anything in the last set.

He was apparently featured on Feb 19 which is way more than the last cycle.

Cyclops was much appreciated. He's now 2/5/5. Opened 20 pooled tacos this morning before we saw the rewards for Punisher PVP, didn't draw any more Cyclops red, but not needed now since it will be trivial to pick up the last one in Army Of One.

Back to hoarding taco tokens again as the only 3* not fully covered (counting Cyclops as covered) is Squirrel Girl.

Does anyone know how the second round is going to go? It works out now that there are 35 characters. I'm wondering if the order will stay the same (same groups of 5), or if they will move onto the second abilities and randomize the groups of 5.

I would guess that they'll vary up the order, but there's no real way to know, yet. Before too long, we'll have a 36th 3*, so that will probably cause some sort of shift in the order out of necessity.

My guess would be the 36th 3* gets skipped, at least for a while. There's no way it's going to come down in simple sets of 5 all the time when we get towards the end, so either they do top cover for the last remaining and roll over to second cover midway or they toss the 3 extra dudes (likely the newest) under the bus and start a new rotation with an easily divisible by 5 number of guys.

I think they'll do one of two things: either just drop them in as they're introduced and let things shift around a bit, so the order gets a little less regular, or they'll wait until they can add a new block of five, and add them all at once. If the order for second covers is the same as the order for first covers, I'd guess the second will be more likely, but they also might not want one of the cycles to consist solely of the five newest covers, so they may just spread them out.

I tend to think the first is more likely, but it's just a guess.

I wonder if the stockpiled tokens includes all characters who have ever been featured in those packs, or just the first week...

So right now is it only 'safe' to open tokens when they are 'active'? Has anyone opened a stockpiled token and gotten someone who wasn't featured yet?

When I opened 10 stockpiled tokens during week 2 I only received week 1 heroes. I've been saving the rest to try for IF.

Yesterday's 4 wave node was easy - so many blue generators and no ninjas.

He was apparently featured on Feb 19 which is way more than the last cycle.

Some time ago somebody on the forum reported that he had in stockpiled tacos character for the next (future) week (it was I week 4, and he was expecting characters from week 3 in stockpiled tokens, but get Patch from week 5 instead).

What trio have you attempted with? I've had consistent luck (since they started the DDQ) with a Marvel (2* or 3*)/MNThor/OBW. The keys to the battles (for me) have been:

- Use OBW's Blue to control CD tiles on waves 1 and 3.
- Try to (when possible) clears waves 1 and 3 through match damage only (this allows you to unload abilities on waves 2 and 4), except...
- Finish off the last enemy in waves 1 and 3 with an ability (so that it's your turn to start waves 2 and 4).
- If there's a Maggia Don in wave 1 or 3, finish him off last (his black ability - Trap - is his only damage dealer) as you can let him stockpile AP (which you can steal with OBW) which you also stockpile to unload in waves 2 or 4.

Other general tips I've seen here:

- Try to use Team Ups with cheap board shakeup (Juggs'/Storm's Green, etc.) to knock out CD tiles, or DoT (Doom's/Punisher's/Storm's/Torch's Black, etc.) to keep dealing damage wave after wave.
- Characters with true healing (Daken/Wolverine/R&G) or other with temporary health boosts (OBW/Spidey) obviously help.

Since the prize is a guaranteed cover and not a token, boost if needed!
