Request: Full iso/HP refunds

  • For all those who say we should have to give back all the covers that we used to win with a character that seems OP and they are gonna nerf. Is the developer gonna give back all the money it made of selling the covers for 4thor. yeah I don't think so. Its not like people who have 4thor are cheating. They designed the character and they let it go on for moths. She snot OP anyway, she just compliments xforce very well. Takes 19 AP to fully take down an opponent anyway. Doesn't seem OP anyway. Especially since after the nerf, cage, cyclops, and mystique can hit harder then her.

I'll reiterate that the OP is a request, not a demand. Much like the alliance slot refunds, it would be a gesture of goodwill from a company that we all would agree sorely needs it, regardless of how you feel about the nerfs.

I cosign the request in the OP. But in fairness I have to concede that a full ISO/hp refund is not warranted in most cases. only in instances where actual money was spent, and some reasonable proration for partial use can be applied. Note that my definition of unreasonable is not some insulting resell price that won't even buy one 4* cover, if we're talking about thor.

I don't mean to devalue people who didn't spend money, but spent countless hours - it's just too hard to figure out a value spent because a reasonable argument might be that you were playing the game and that's the value you took away for your trouble. This btw was the reason I didn't feel I could get too upset with the Sentry nerf - I had no real money in the character.

This doesn't cost the company a cent in real money, although I understand the inflationary implications of flooding the game with currency. But it's an immense show of good faith to the small amount of players who spent significantly on a freemium game and generate a hugely disproportionate amount of its revenue

so 100,000 ISO might be too much but how do you value the boosts, time and effort for those F2P players who fought hard to get placement or progression rewards, only to be told that their hardwork was in vain? Or the ones who recently purchased HP just to complete the covers?

I don't know if this post is directed to me, but in the second case I think a prorated refund in the form of hp is appropriate. I can't begin to answer the first question. Although if I was D3 and my player base told me 100k ISO for a nerfed thor was acceptable compensation, I'd agree in a heartbeat. Again, the cost is negligible and it's a huge goodwill gesture. It's not even a huge deal in game terms - it lets you fully level a 2* or take a 3* from 100 to the 150's
