Defile: an antifalcon suggestion
We have falcon and he can inspire his allies to great heights. Boosting Attack, strike and protect tiles each time friendly yellows are matched.
What the game needs now, in a time where heroes for hire can effortlessly protect and attack, where thirst runs rampant, and birdmen can inspire; is a villain who can demoralize the heroes sucking the wind from their sails and ruining their carefully laid plans.
Suggestion for a new power
Black passive: Defile: Any time a black match is made reduce the power of up to 3 enemy strike/attack/protect tiles by X amount to a minimum of 1.
Not evil enough? Ok, at 5 covers gains the ability to destroy one enemy AP of a random color each time black is matched.
Probably should make that only on friendly black matches to be balanced, but feeling particularly meddlesome today so deal with it.

I don't think it'd be too crazy to suggest removing the Protect, Strike, or Attack tiles if their values get reduced below 1 also. Being left alone, Falcon could end up reinspiring them. Plus, red tiles demand a lot of real estate when it comes to special tiles.
I could recommend a few active powers to add this effect to as well. Perhaps Intimidation (because honestly, it's called Intimidation) or Gravity Warp (moving that tile when there's multiple colors of specials can be tricky, so how about suppressing the moved tile while she's at it.0 -
I want something that can take the teeth out of Iron Fist and Luke Cage, if the power removed the tiles completely then those two would repop a new tile at full strength the next turn eliminating the benefit of suppressing the special tile in the first place.0

Hmm true. Perhaps thinking further ahead, two characters could be implemented, or at least powers with the effect. One that keeps the board filled with depowered specials (preventing new color specific tiles from being generated) and one that slowly withers enemy specials into nothingness, perhaps converting the tile color when reduced below 10
