Who would you pick to be a new character to be made available during the second anniversary?

My suggestion: Howard the Duck

  • I'd say Gorgon, since it's been introduced in the game already, same way Devil Dino was.

Gorgon seems to be a good character. It'd be nice.

Gorgon's not a wacky character though. We need something wackier than Devil Dino for anniversary: we don't want the anniversary character to be the next 4or and also be impossible to get. I propose a robot dino, or howard the duck instead.

The watcher. And finally we can have a character that's all passives since all he can do is watch.
  • Any of the Great Lakes Avengers would be fun. Maybe do all of them as a single character, with an Avengers Assemble- style multi-person power, a passive for Mr. Immortal, and something goofy like "be marginally effective" for 3 ap like Prehistoric Arms.

Mr. Immortal needs to have a power called "Doorman's Aid" or I'll be very disappointed.

How about the Ever-Gregarious Grasshopper! With the power of "Maximum Jump" - ordinarily, grants him the "Airborne" status for one turn and deals damage upon returning to the ground. But if the team has more than 10 Green AP, Grasshopper rockets up into orbit! Pity his suit doesn't allow him to breathe in a a vacuum...

The Dino we got wasn't a lot like the existing Dino though. There isn't any reason Gorgon couldn't be different. If they like the idea of a joke character, I think Howard the duck would be pretty good.

Leopardon, the giant robot piloted by Supaidaman (Spider-Man from the 1970s Japanese live-action series) and recently introduced to the Marvel comics canon:

Leopardon/Supaidaman would, of course, be a 4* combo with Devil Dino-class health. And he could be played alongside the 3* Spider-Man or Bag-Man since they're different characters.

And while they're at it, they could rework Bag-Man as the alternate-universe (but now canon) Spider-Man who dispenses delicious Hostess® snacks to defeat his enemies:

I just want the power to throw fruit pies, golden sponge cakes, and other tasty treats at my MPQ foes. Is that so much to ask, Demiurge?!

How 'bout some green Dino covers, since they clearly weren't giving out too many of those the first time around...

Have they said anything about his release yet? He seems a heck of a lot more usable than Squirrel Girl...
