I was in a casual alliance for 10 months, bit you do miss out on a little bit. the first two pve with you giys got me more covers and iso than i could have imagined

I still think 51st for a 4* is awesome, and i will get way more use out of getting daredevil up to 5 red than having profx with 2 pinks instead of 1.

My vote is somewhere in between. Lets push a little, but not 200%. A couple of us (like me) with good rosters and free time will help carry us. All i want is daily players who contribute. Do i need top 50 every time? No. But top 100 would be great and top 250 would be cool and still get me hp for roster slots

I can totally support this. I need to talk to Watcher and we probably need to discuss the minumums (if we even want to go that route) as a team. We're all frustrated right now and the easy thing to do is throw your hands up and bail. I hate walking away from things I've gotten invested in, so I don't want to do that... but I don't have a problem getting out of the way if my ideas don't line up with the majority.

How relaxed to we wanna be? 125% of max progression, 400 PvP? Only kicks are for failure to play for consecutive days or general asshattery?

Do you need a merc. I have over 90k and my event end in an hour. I had more time then I thought

Just for the record, I did reach out to Moon on his offer but it sat unread until this morning. Doesn't matter now anyways. I appreciate you offering, man.

I'm all for kicking out asshattery. I'm not too partial on one number as the minumum over another, I just feel having fence posts helps everyone be comfortable with known expectations.

Side note thanks to el watcher for the nice explanation of what went down.

What exactly did go down? I was there and would be interested in hearing.

Damn, sorry donk. I'm RL friends with moonie, could have let him know if I saw this earlier. AFAIK he barely ever visits the forums.

It was the chat posts about the personality type conflicts going on behind the scenes in the commander's lounge. There is more stuff (lots more) going back weeks, but the basics are in what Ouatu said.

Have you guys decided what you're going to be moving forward?

I'm thinking about starting my own "Better Than Nothing" alliance that has no mins or requirements. If we earn stuff, that's a bonus, if not, no worries. I'm loving not being obligated to play any events or shoot for any goals, but I do miss the comraderie and a few extra ISO, etc now and then wouldn't hurt.

I think we're still stuck betwixt and between. If we go casual, we'll lose people and it'll be hard to add more. If we go hardcore, we'll lose people and it becomes a giant time suck again. Watcher and I are still talking about it behind the scenes and trying to get a feel from the rest of the people in the group. We've had a few more drop out because we're so casual, and I'd hate to lose more. It's also really early in the recovery effort, so... who knows. Fingers crossed.

    Hey all!

Glad to be part of the alliance. I'm not a super hardcore player, I have a full time job and a life icon_e_biggrin.gif I really enjoy the game though and I'm looking to grow my roster and be an asset to an alliance. I will focus on whatever the alliance focuses on, so if there's a push for a certain thing I will push hard on it. I can commit to at minimum a 300+ pvp score and minimun 100% pve score. I will often do more than that if time permits, but that's what I can commit to.

I'm on the west coast and usually do late night runs with late night time slots (1am or 4am PST) and I play daily. Let me know what your thoughts are! icon_e_smile.gif

This we understand more than anything. D0nk3y and I both have full time jobs and are also full time parents. You'll notice that our alliance scores often jump and plateau which you can trace to lunch breaks and players getting off work. Actually last year we found out that multiple players had kids with birthdays celebrated on the first weekend in December. We absolutely know that real life doesn't care about this game at all.

We're glad to have you aboard.

There is an interesting point here about PVE scalling

    viewtopic.php?f=7&t=26077

It doesn't tell the whole story. But it points to the fact that if you want to level a team up to use in PVP/DDQ, so long as you don't use them in PVE it wont hurt your PVE scalling. I've been keeping my Hulk, Thor and Xforce out of PVE since I took them past 120 and have been having a decent time beating nodes with the buffed 2*s given and my few level 105 3*.

If you level your team it won't increase scaling. If you level them, use them in PVE, and consequently do better, it will increase your scaling. I've been checking what levels the 2* rosters on the team have been facing and what Donkey's been facing and I'm skewing closer to the 2*. That's not to say that if you can take your whole team up to 166 that's not a good idea.

(The caveat to this being that once every month or 2 the gauntlet is scaled the the couple 166's I have and I don't have the depth to fight at that level very well when I can't use them)

*edit* - found our last member.
  • Hey gang, been locked out of all PVE and PVP events due to the connection issues. Anybody else in the same (love) boat?

You're not alone. I was able to play some this morning, but the entire game has been mostly down since then. I still can't get it. It's completely FUBAR.
  • You guys have any open slots?
I took about a month off and I'm now playing PvE again, not really touching PvP much.

*edit - still looking for one player.*
*double edit - all roster slots filled. thank you all. Streamsaw, I sent you a PM but never got a response back. Sorry about that - best of luck wherever you land*
  • Hey, I saw your post about needing 2 active players. Currently I play daily and have been no less than the top 60 in any of the last 5-6 PvP events and no less than the top 70 in the PvE events within that same time frame. 2 of these PvP events i finished in the top 15 and 20 individually. I haven't been playing long but I have quickly built a reliable group of heroes/villains. Unfortunately the alliances that I have taken part in thusfar, have been inactive at best and I want to be a part of a strong alliance that grow in strength. Hopefully you will consider my membership and I look forward to hearing from you.
  • I'm in if you guys need a player for ultron. I pick and choose which events and pvps to play based on my roster needs and time availability but I'm a big fan of ultron. You can add me and after ultron we can talk about a permanent stay or I'll leave. I joined a public alliance for the 1st ultron just so I could play and I didn't get any help so looking for stronger alliance this time around
