Prodigal Sun Scaling

First sub event was kinda hard, nodes went up to a fairly high level.
This second sub event was actually okay, the levels were chalenging but do-able.
Until I got to the 3-hours-to-go mark when the levels exploded and now I am stuck in about 110th and I've already lost the will to go on. I hate this event. There's hard and then there's "Hope you got a good board, used boosts and get a cascade every turn, or you ain't winnin" hard. It's not fun. It's tedious. It's boring. It's frustrating and I'm already on the edge of scrapping this event.
God help us when we reach Hell's Kitchen again. Worst sub event in any story event.0 -

The scaling takes off at the end of the event since that's when everyone else is doing the missions too.
If you're reasonably sure that you can't do the missions easily, it might be a good idea to grind them early before community scaling kicks in at the end. Rubberbanding is nonexistent these days, and a small loss of points from not playing optimally isn't much compared to not being able to beat the missions at all later due to scaling.0 -
The third sub I was able to winfinite beyond the first node, find one more node to winfinite and the BP trival node.
Running those three times (and grinding the BP) got me top 100.
The fourth sub I could winfinite the first node, but it was level 200+ DD after that, I'm out! I came back and ran that first node one more time today: I'm in top 200, after hitting one node two times.
Perhaps more than small percentage should be able to run these nodes, hrm? Perhaps global scaling needs to go away, local scaling needs to consider your entire roster (and not just a few characters), buffed characters need to not be considered buffed for scaling (arguments on both sides, I haven't seen a definitive answer), and nodes need to be considered beatable without boosts.0
