Anybody else not spending their DP tokens this week?

I'm happy about the deadpool daily - it's gonna do worlds for my f2p account. On both accounts, however, I'll be holding all my tokens for the next set. I just don't really need any of this wave, so hopefully I'll have 10 fat tokens waiting for the next set.

I tried that from last week. Tokens don't roll over to the new drops, unfortunately though, they stay locked to the cycle you obtained your tacos from, so there's no point hoarding them. I had eight tacos from last week, which appeared on a separate screen with BP/R&G/Cage/Mags/Mohawk odds, not the current set.

I've gotten 2 luke cage...Cmag, grocket yellow, and Cstorm green, which I needed to redo her skill tree, and adaken I didn't need. I don't save tokens.. hardly ever. No point.I'll buy a slot if I get a new character..if I want them. The most standard covers I've saved was 20..and it was fun to open all at once.

I have played MMORPGs since EQ2..star wars galaxies and wow..and so on. I grew tired of mmos...so im not paying that $15 sub anymore. So if I spend $20 a month on slots...didn't bother me. I enjoy the game and if people are dropping $100 on it a month to win...then they deserve to.

This character token grouping thing is strange. It means one of two things: 1st) Every 5 days there is a new recruit page for DDQ and that is going to get completely out of hand very very quickly. Or 2) Characters are grouped into batches of 5 and will stay the same forever. This would make about 6-8 current DDQ slices and add a new one for every 5 characters.

I'm hoping it's the latter, and we will see groups replayed for their second covers in about 2 months.

Hrm. That's a good point. I'd agree with you that's it's likely to be the latter. It also makes sense in terms of ensuring all of the characters rotate through in a reasonably orderly fashion. Otherwise, as you say, we're going to end up with tens of pages of DDQ recruit pages (if someone were to choose to hoard all their tokens).

If they don't mix up the 5 characters in the tokens then you'll looking at a minimum of 8 weeks (assuming only 3*s released) for the number divisible by 5 plus 1 3* character to be added en masse with the 4 other new characters.

And in that 8 weeks they ran DDQ what, 56 times? So what if A) New characters get grouped together and it takes a while for them to hit DDQ. Once they do hit there will finally be a group worth tokening for.

I just find it highly unlikely that every 5 days they are creating another recruitment page for DDQ. Even a short time from now a person not spending their tokens will go bonkers sorting through pages.

Just got a spiderman cover from taco and trashed it. Sad, considering spiderman is one of the most iconic characters.

I have 10 hoarded from week one. They are "stockpiled", but I don't see odds on them - good to hear from morph3us they stayed the same odds.

However, I'm hoarding 10 more this week to see what happens. I'm guessing there will be two odds of draws: "current" five, and "last" five. How else will the tokens differentiate? I can't see having two different "stockpiled" pages, or you'll end up getting tons of pages of old Deadpool tokens. So I'm thinking after this rotation of five characters I won't have two pages of 10 stockpiled and 10 stockpiled, I'll probably have 20 stockpiled that will have the DD/DP week (2) odds rather than the Mags/Storm week (1) odds.

But the information that they stay the same draws is what I'm curious for - that means you would have to wait an extra week for the "stockpiled" tokens to rotate.
Let's say that set 3 (of 5 characters) contains Cyclops, so I want to cash them all in. That means I'll want to cash in every current token during that event, but I'll want to wait for set 4 to go active for the "stockpiled" tokens to update, and include Cyclops.

Dev response on this would be nice so we aren't hoarding and/or guessing.

Heh, funny enough, that's who I pulled with a taco token yesterday! She-Hulk green, an ability so fabulous that I had 5 covers, and now have 3. Because I can't make it go any lower.

That is a shame. I need a few covers, but that's it from this week's set.

Here's the one I should bump.

Didn't need much from set one, so hoarded 10. Once second week came they were "stockpiled" with same draw chances.

Didn't need much from set two, so hoarded 10 more. Tomorrow we'll see if there are two different stockpiled pages, or if they merge into one set of 20. If they do, the character draw should update as well!

I'm hoping/guessing that tomorrow I'll come in and see 20 tokens stockpiled, all with this weeks (Gamorra) draw rate. Which would mean you could hoard until you want the best chance at a certain character, then wait for that character's week to be done and cash them all in once they go to "stockpiled".

I have try and hoard or 'carry over' one token from previous week (1st round of DDQ) and open yesterday and I get Gamora, which is the line up for this week/round. I don;t have diffrent pages of token pages for different rounds so that means that hoarding the tokens will work.

So true and yet, green She-Hulk is what I got today (first 3*) I hope I'll more lucky in the future. Is this the 4th DDQ in the second batch? Who are the remaining heroes?
