I have no tiny kitty idea what exactly is going on but i definitely think, that the odds of pulling a 3* is only partially RNG-based. It is not about pulling something similar with somebody, but pulling these things in a specific timespace.
And i also have to mention that within my last 50 Event- and Heroic-Tokens i had 3 (!) 3* covers. As a transitioner that reaaaaally sucks a tinykitty-buttocks. But hey! Out of 78 Standards i had 2 Mystique cover.... so.... yay..?

p.s.: in case you´re wondering: yes, i got my whole family and friends hooked to this game...

Aside from the hilarity of "she pulled purple Moonstone out of a both of her Tacos" there may be some validity to your "timespace" theory in that the RNG still needs a seed of some sort. Assuming server time is in some way used as a seed for RNG, I guess it's plausible that tokens pulled within seconds of each other could potentially result in a RN within the same range.

Overall though, I think something we should all keep in mind is that the pulls are independent - although we think the tokens should know a bullseye or moonstone was just pulled and somehow temporarily remove that cover from the rotation, it doesn't necessarily work that way.

My first two tokens I got groot and groot and I thought "I like it a lot!".

I have got every taco available so far and since only got 2*'s, each time I think "wouldn't it have been nice if they were 3*'s, oh well I'm still getting heaps from the daily quest. I like it a lot".

This game is fun for the journey not the destination. I like getting the characters. If I got all of them, I would have nothing to play for.

I also get mad that every token I open, be it taco or especially event, is a 2* instead of a 3* that I need. The bright spot of all of the 2* disappointment is that I need to sell those 2* to add to the thousand-someodd 20 iso rewards so I can actually level 3 and 4* covers. As far as Moonstone... are those real?

DDQ is awesome, the only change needed is me pulling the 1k HP a few dozen times.

I would not mind some Moonstone taco..

This happens quite often. If you click on the token right away after opening the last one, you normally get the same character again but maybe a different color. Of course this doesn't work with 3* heroes but it normally always happens to me with 1* and 2*.

When this starts to happen, I usually press the token and hold it down for a few seconds then when I finally release it will be someone else. I imagine the tokens spin around a wheel and the longer you hold, the more characters you cycle through. I win a decent amount of 3*s using this method sometimes.
