Troll Bridge

Please feel free to do all the trolling you want in here (under the bridge) so that the rest of us know where to avoid. The rest of us will be out in the world talking about strategy, characters, team comp, and generally having fun talking to people that play a game we all enjoy to varying levels. Troll on in here and feel free to eat each other if you'd like. At least in here I don't have to see it.

Is there a point at which a negative reputation score gets a user banned or, better yet, their posts are simply always invisible?

I'll condone this, as long as there's no offensive language or filter dodging, nor any "calling people out" that are not participating in this thread.

@ DrStrange-616: When I ban someone is sets their rep to -50, so maybe?

    This ^^^^^^
  • This was also just some tongue-in-cheek venting. Not trying to cause the volunteer mods added stress. Feel free to lock and delete to the ether if that's best.

I work on another website that uses the exact same forum toolset. You can click a users name and 'Add foe'. If you do this, I believe their posts are always hidden from you. Alternately 'Add friend' highlights users of interest. If you're into that sort of thing.

Ah, thanks. I'm okay with ignoring posts and not physically blocking them. Just thought it would be an apt punishment for someone to be able to post but *no one* could see them. icon_twisted.gif

You can still see that they posted and it tells you there's a hidden post from 'x who is on your foe list'. So you can expand it to see what you... missed? But yeah, that's the only tool I'm aware of.

So I take it this is the thread where we argue about whether or not 4or needs a nerf?

I don't want them hidden from me. I was wondering if there was a sort of pergatory where they're still allowed to post, but no user ever sees them, so they're perpetually ignored by the entire board.

    No, that's for character discussion.

This is to talk about how this thread was only created so D3 can make more money from health-packs.

Is this the thread where I demand recompense from D3 because the Cyclops pop ups have permanently imprinted an image of Mr. Summers' shapely butt cheeks on my retinas? icon_mad.gif

I think they should slowly drain a character's health if you don't use him. Heroes get rusty when they sit around after all. This would increase diversity because you would try to use every character every day.

I propose any post on any thread that get's the -5 points instead of being hidden be instantly teleported to this thread with it's subject and content intact. A message can be left in it's original place saying it was moved to the Troll Bridge.
  • Making use of troll bridge.

Why does anyone keep a Beast on their team? Like 50% of my alliance have him at 1-4 covers, and it's so infuriating. I think that bagman or yelena would be a better use of that roster slot than that blue ball of blubbering bile beast.

Also instead of 'true healing', they should just decrease Wolverine and Daken's health permanently whenever they get hit so they're always at 100% health.

I dunno, you have legitimate points if you say anything bad about Beast...dunno if this is troll-y enough icon_e_wink.gif. However, you obviously haven't used his yellow yet...it is easily one of the top 10 abilities out there [throws bait, runs away].

Reason why I keep beast (or doc oc or she hulk for that matter) 1 hyphenated word : x-force.

They did a wonderful job fixing him, and even hawkeye I think they did a decent job. I'm hoping for a proper fix on beast. I have 11 covers for him, so if they fixed him I could use him.

And essentials I guess, you never know.
