Can't play Deadpool Daily, sigh

Don't have black panther. I got him like 2 days ago but he was my only cover of him so I sold him. This is gonna be a routine I think. You'd think essentials would not be a part on this, oh well see what's up tomorrow.

The entire point is that you get new characters from tokens, PvP or PvE, and build them up with the daily event.

There's still 3 nodes you could play without the required character that net you some iso and a taco token. And black panther is a small chance in those tokens so you might luck out (doubt it but might)

You knew this was coming and if you did any research, you knew you needed to have the required character to play. The onus is on you....If you want all the characters you must pay for the slots otherwise you are out of luck, no need to whine about it...

I got the usual nothing 2* off my first taco token, but another one for kicks and the same result. Fun to have something different tho. I'm excited for these.

It's not D3's fault if you choose to sell a 3* cover. I sold many when I first started and most of the time it's come back to bit me in the backside, so I have a bunch of lvl 40's with 3 - 11 covers sitting there for times like this.

You never know who's going to be essential for what. One of the first things about this game that I went "cool" over was the idea of essentials. It's like a secret level....sorta. I imagine there will be a few dozen threads about everyone should get loaners now. Don't think I'll ever do the 1* level, or might have to buy a roster spot to have a 1*.

Bro don't downvote, and state I lied. That's just sad, he was/is a daily play reward. Feel bad for you. Like I said, I'm playing tomorrow, and BP is no big deal to me, just the lack of an option to play the first day or any days in the future. I had the gold to add him, he's one cover, didn't keep it. Simple really.

There are 5 nodes. Only 2 are locked requiring a specific character. You can still play the other 3 nodes without BP

Downvote for whining is what I'd expect. A great new thing that addresses heaps of constant concerns of new and vet players is introduced and within the hour you are complaining because you sold a token. On a side note, don't know where I'd be without my BP. him and patch have taken down many a maxed xforce GT or combos my xforce cmags might have issues with.

Yeah I'd be in that concerned pile of people too. But this didn't tackle it for me. I've played for however many days it takes to get that reward, maybe I got one or two before this, and it's of course the one I need for this one. It's pretty sad, this didn't tackle the issues at all.

Dunno if you read but people asked where Nonce 2 went a couple days ago. This new mode announcement came well before so he had time to reply saying this brought him back into MPQ, NOPE. He says the the devs are still unchanged and he's working on assisting another game. He's gotten plenty of Upvotes for that statement.

I upvoted OP because this is really about Roster Slot problems, and how expensive they are.

Bet a lot of players will now buy HP to keep more characters around just to avoid this sort of problem. Well played, D3: you give us something new and exciting and we give you money.

Wonder how many more people would have complained if in the first 2 days the essential was Beast then Doc Ock.

Selling a 3* is usually not wise. I know this is what D3 loves, knowing that you won a 3* and had to throw it away and all, but you gotta hold onto those 3* & 4* covers no matter what.

I don't understand why some downvoted your post. I sympathize and don't see it as "whining". Hopefully tomorrow will be a better Deadpool Daily Day for you.

I've dumped about $180 into the game over a year, by choice, and why wouldn't I? I enjoyed it and wanted to do better and play more and support it. $100 of that was for a few specific covers. As a new player you may not be able to keep up with all the HP needed for new roster slots, andI can empithize with that. Although by teh time I needed to buy a lot more slots I had more HP coming in. I have spent a penny since I vowed not to, and if you don't want to spend the odd couple bucks here and there to top off shields or buy a roster slot then don't.

It's not a difficult choice. we are all (at least nearly) adults. If it's not worth your time or money, find a game that is, or play with teh charecters you like, simple as that. As far as difficult decisions in games go (online or not) whether I keep a cover or not is one of the least anxiety inducing decisions I've ever made in my entire gaming life (over 20 years).

Good point, but selling him or any 3's is not hard for me at all, just like you. This morning I sold off Luke Cage and Magneto over my other dozens of random 2's and 1's. Problem is the essential part is a bit bogus, I mean just let players play the game, and it they don't have a character just grant them a random token and maybe they get a 1,2,3 or 4. If you do have it then you can play for the reward. This is a bit lame, and players just aren't going to have the covers to play this mode, it doesn't matter how you look at this. It's a mode that gonna go uncompleted countlessly, for one cause it's daily, people are gonna lose track of it, and this essential garbage.

What would you have them do? Give a 3* cover to every player every day? How would they then make money?

Would you have preferred 5 nodes that all players can play, but without a guaranteed 3*?
