    Very low. They want competition for new characters. I'm guessing Black Panther as the final reward and next essential.

    we just had a gaunlet not that long ago just another reason i think they are trying to Kill the PVE. D3 would been happy to gave you 100 bucks on the sale but not now cause i say within 6 months we will no longer see the PVE how it is today (it will be more like DEADPOOL daily thing it will no longer be against others)

    Last Gauntlet was in early February. We have had both Simulator, Deadpool and Prodigal Sun since then, and there are no other villain-centered PvEs to choose from.

    Gauntlet is one of my favorite PVE events along with the 'hand'. Added to my roster a bit since last time so should hopefully be able to progress through stages 2 & 3 a little faster than before icon_e_biggrin.gif

    As someone who did speed through it and grab one of those 10-packs last time, I'm glad they took it out. Added an unnecessary element to what is viewed by many as the perfect PVE experience.

    They knew everyone would be speed running anyway trying to cover as many nodes as possible before the impending nerfs hit tomorrow.

    Works for me, I've got a 10 cover Blade so I'm not even worried about completing this gauntlet

    i hope the next PVE is a short one. I know many people skip the gaunlet and dont really want to spend 7 days on a PVE after taking a week off ...Start off slow to get people to come back.

    The next PVE will run in the off-season, so naturally it will be for a new character to keep people playing.
    Same deal as with at least one of the 2 off-season PVPs handing out highly sought after covers.

    Really, that has been the pattern for months now, no need to speculate.

    The first PvP on the next season will probably feature the new character, so it stands to reason that the PvE awarding that character will end well before the PvP awarding the new character.
    In short it seems likely it will be a short PvE. Not sure which one though. We just had Heroic mode and none of the storyline events are short enough without 12 hour phases (which should be avoided when awarding a new character).
    For now, I'm guessing it will be Meet Rocket & Groot. Very short, and it makes sense to run it before Rocket and Groot go into the Vault.

    Starting, yes.
    It will end in the off-season though, to make sure that the off-season, once again, will consist of "Tuesday". Ok, half of Tuesday, until the LRs start.

    I would love for meet Grocket to be the next PVE. I can't handle the week long grind for new characters. Plus I need the PVP after Daken to hit 4000 for the season.

    Didn't they already announce the "new" 3* will be in the Heroic packs for next season? If they are going to do that, wouldn't they require the next PVE be her release then prior to the start of the season? Have they ever added a new character to the Heroic pack prior to their official PVE release before?

    Didn't they "end" a season with the release for a Luke Cage PVE that went into the offseason that overlapped with a Combined Arms PVP event? Maybe I'm remembering that incorrectly, but I don't think it's outside the realm of possibility this next PVE will be for the new character.

    EDIT: Lol, nvm, I think you're just saying the same thing, next PVE will be for new character, just a short one. Disregard icon_e_smile.gif
