    If you can afford the hp, shield hop earlier and get your 1000 before the 12 hr mark. The nearer the time end, the more hits you get when you unshield.

    I can and I do plan on it. In fact, I'm thinking about just making a hard push all the way up to 800+ in one go and then dropping a 24-hour shield. Gives me plenty of time to shop around for high-value targets at my leisure. With luck, I might even be able to do it in 2 shots of 800 + 200. Who knows? icon_e_wink.gif

    Entirely possible if you make your second push during the dead zone between 8 and 3 hours from event end. I recently did a push from 500ish to 1000 during that time without any hits. Granted I have a 250 xf/4hor to help dissuade some.
