A New Challenger... THE MPQ AI

Another honorable mention is "Corner Countdown".
AI places a CD tile in the far reaches of the board that cannot be matched by similar color. Usually a human torch team up is cast or a goon placed via PvE. This will cause tremendous damage to team and cannot be matched throughout the duration of the match or countdown expiration.
I swear I have dealt with that countless times where the AI has cast "Flame Jet" and the count down stayed on the board for more than half the game just chipping away at my health. Not one board shake could get rid of this pesky CD tile. This results in a loss with 270 Xforce on deck and even his board shake ability couldnt touch the AI with PFM skills.0 -

Miracle Cascade (Passive)
The AI needs AP and they need it now! Miraculously, after matching any color, the AI will receive 8 AP in any color that it [tiny kitty] chooses as a result of launching a nearly debilitating cascade.
Automatically triggers following a Berserker Rage.
I always like when I drop Rage, move Hulk to the front and they make a cascade of 10 match3's which wipes out Hulk. It's always funny to watch 8 or 9 Anger tiles blink out of existence at once.
Although my favorite was when they did that but left 22 life with the Hulk. Just so you get that moment of celebration that he survived and the board is about to go green before you realize the first tile will be suicide for him0 -
I've lately thought about making a suggestion.
SUGGESTION -- For Suggested Move
During a players turn, the AI will eventually suggest a move by highlighting a few icons for a moment.
Here's the suggestion --- If the suggested move is still available, the AI has to make that move.0 -
Hilarious! I fought this guy a few times0

Why must you let your teammates be **** by unfriendly AI? As long as MPQ AI is alive, odds are always in their favour!
Bullseye: The initial state of the board has over 50% purple tiles. This doesn't change no matter how much either team shakes the board.
Don't forget the inverse of this. The Anti-Rainbow - Oh you brought every color but black to the fight? Board is 50% black no matter how much either team shakes the board.0 -
I have one
Death Of Thousend Cuts (Passive) - Whenever AI is about to lose, launch as much abilities (preferably AoE) at the player as possible, to force the player to use up medikits before the next match, fight enemy wounded or run out of time.0 -

When player needs one more match of a certain color to get off an ability, the AI will make that match whether it needs that color or not.
Exactly it seems you can fool the Ai.
If I need 9 red Ap and there are 3 matches it is easier to get all 9 if you don't do it in a row. If you match 6 in 2 turns the ai sees you need Red and goes for it.
But if you skip and go 3 red 3 green then 3 red again it is harder for the Ai to know what your collecting. This is imo of course but give it a try it seems to work for me.0 -
No Soup for You! When the AI see's your ability bar blinking, and you will be able to fire an ability on your next turn, the AI uses it's powers of nullification to turn off the blinking power ability so you now need another match to cast it.0

One the funniest, but honest, posts I've seen so far I don't know if anyone else has noticed the nerf passive, in which AI characters remain in their pre-nerf state when you face them in events. I faced XF in DP vs. MPQ, and he's 89 along with Storm Mohawk and I forgot who else. I took a relatively weak team, with Hawkeye (94) and MMags (94) with a buffed character, I don't remember who. My Hawkeye was just under 4k when XF pulled his , my Hawkeye was gone! I had to look twice! He hit my buffed character a few turn later for over 3k! My XF is 135 and doesn't do close to that! This also seems to apply to Mystique during Rocket and Groot, with her turning almost every tile black or purple, and CMags, who not only fires off ALL his abilities for multiple turns in a row, but does WAY more damage than he should. These abilities were my favorite though
Board Dry Up (Passive)
When player needs a certain color, there will suddenly be no matches for that color for several turns.
Let Go My Eggo! (Passive)
When player needs one more match of a certain color to get off an ability, the AI will make that match whether it needs that color or not.
Don't Turn Your Back On Me. (Passive)
After a player gets the AP to win the match on his/her next turn, the AI wil activate several abilities (preferably AOE abilities) and/or Miracle Cascade to cause the player to suddenly go from three virtually full health characters to needing to use 3 health packs.
PREACH!0 -
This has to be the most fun passive aggressive weekly AI CHEATS thread i have ever seen.0

You have the right to do what you want and are entitled to get the AP you need to do it! Make those that would stop you pay! If an enemy has been denying your team AP of certain colour in which you have a strong active ability for a few turns, get an impossible cascade that gives you all the AP that you need for it (no matter how much) AND then a 5 match so you can cast it that same turn!
I match blue to stun him next turn and start an endless chain of stuns with two CDs out... and the AI made a match 3 of yellow, followed by a cascade that gave it enough Ap to cast red green and purple. Needless to say it ended with a crit so he could kill me on that very same turn.0 -
I'm surprised no one mentioned the passive that makes the team-up automatically the best team-up possible.
Example, AI always seems to get Demolition off early in the match or use Furious Charge to take the only two colors you have collected, just when you have enough to use them.0 -
How about this. Mostly seen in PvE early nodes.
Spite (Passive) - If players' team level is higher than your's, use lvl 166 AoE Team-Up, to waste half of their health anyway.0 -

Also forces your Scarlet Witch CD tile into the corner where it will not generate a match, let alone a crit. For bonus measure, the AI will randomly turn one of the tiles next to the CD tile into a special tile, thus creating only two purples.0 -

not 1 corner spawn when i tried her in the Doom PVP, it ALWAYS spawned in a spot that gave the AI a match 4 blue.0 -
hey, welcome to the match!
activates any power of choice for any character after only two turns regardless of any matches made or ap generated.0 -
Nothing to See Here, Move Along (Passive)
To avoid suspicion, the MPQ AI will bestow the occasional mega cascade and good matches to the player, but preferably only when fighting seed teams in PvP or trivial nodes in PvE.0 -
Knights in White Satin (passive)
AI destroys your team with extreme prejudice using all its other passive abilities. Immediately it creates a forum account to ridicule you for inevitably complaining about it.0 -

Being a gracious loser, the A.I. generously rewards the player when it realizes it has been bested in match-3 combat. If the player defeats the A.I., the A.I. will give the player multiple cascades and match-5's with the killing move, giving the player a large stack of AP AFTER the match ends.
So true! Also, an addition/variation to this:
"If the player defeats the A.I. in a PVP match, the A.I. will give the player multiple cascades with the killing move so that the player has to waste at least 5 minutes of the event time staring at tiles being matched automatically"0 -

Might as well make a new one:
Take your Time
When you need to end fights as fast as possible the AI will use the powers with the longest animations over and over, even better if they won't deal damage to make even a lose take a lot of time. As a bonus, if you win then you get a huge non stopping cascade by the end to make the fight last as longer as possible.0
