Most of the offseason events are great for 2star teams because at lvl141, they can compete with 3star teams. Oh, and the last 2 times storm was a reward offseason, children of the atom was the following pvp (which i would be psyched if they ran that event!).

Double Mohawk rewards makes me think we're likely to get Category-5 instead. Gives them a special event and a normal event to test the new match making.

And if it is Category-5,I bet it rewards Star-Lord and we'll start the new season with his PvP.

I think there was a post in the announcement thread for the test saying they were planning on running one "special" PVP (ie: Multiple people buffed) and one "standard" PVP (ie: One buffed/loaner + two)

So I'm inclined to say it will be Cat-5, but now that I say it, wasn't there a Cat-5 not that long ago? Or am I remembering inncorrectly?


Edit: Just checked and Cat-5 ran the end of December. They usually don't run them so close together, but then again this is the off season.

Maybe they will skip ahead and go straight to Starlord?

Typically Starlord would have been the Top1 award for this event if that was the case. Who knows at this point though.

I admit, looking at the pack that the characters highlighted in red (increased % pull) is very tempting to me, as the & I actually need, but I'm fighting the urge to needless waste money on the liklihood of turned

Currently I'm on a roll in preserving my expenditure (apart from opening roster space) by earning the essential character for the next event without relying on packs.

so i hit 732 in this event, my highest score ever (my roster is capped 2 stars), thanks to buffed 2* thor and ares with some help from storm. i'm 24 hour shielded with 24 hours to play... i'll check back in the last hour and see whats up, but 732 could be top 50 in the first timeslot right? (i think it wasnt hte first bracket in that tieslot either given that i joined today)

Yes. This is probably the most transitioner friendly pvp event ever. 2* Ares,Thor and Storm are actually great and there's only one "real" reward for the top dogs.

Am I the only one bothered that all the buffed characters are gods or at least part god, yet we have Storm thrown in there as well?

Storyline, as I understand, she's got some god or god-like heritage and is known as "Goddess of Thunder" at points.

Has this event been run since Lazy Thor was introduced? I only remember it having Loki, Ragnarok, Ares, Thor Now! and Modern/Classic Storm, each with their own node...

Alpha level mutant. Omegas are either reality manipulators or incredibly extreme examples of their particular powers, like Xavier.

You got me, I only follow the movies/TV and that stuff is hard to keep track of. I just know she's super-powerful and if Storm were a villian/used her powers recklessly she'd cause alot of chaos.
